What happens when jealousy come in-between family? Dae, Serene and Becca have to face their own hardships. Although they have each other, is sisterhood enough for them to get through tragedy, trials and betrayal?
Before going after Meghan and her cronies, Todd wanted to make sure that I can still escape if anything happened to him. I promised to look after Ri but he didn't want me to tell her about tonight. Without warning, I started to get emotional but failed to hide it. My eyes watered and I held my head back to look at the ceiling.
"How are you holding up?" He asked.
"I'll be fine. Ye-Jun made it safely."
"Y'know that Ri will take care of Ye-Jun."
"Todd I know. It's just-
"You're feeling guilty about Tony?"
Shocked, I couldn't deny it was true. After all these years, I knew that our relationship was over and things would never be the same. The guilt was because Jin will always be my husband and I don't want Tony to get the wrong idea. Before responding, he looked at me and said:
"We better get ready for tonight."
"Let me guess, you're wearing black right?"
"Copycat!" He teased
"Fine. I'll wear another color then."
Rolling his eyes, we both knew that we were going to wear black since we were going to set up a sting on Meghan late tonight. He cocked his head to the side when I took a sip of hot green tea with ginger.
"Don't stare at me like that." I demanded.
He didn't even blink at my request but the corners of his lips turned upward. I knew that he was excited to finally be in the mix. Revenge was something he enjoyed. He always had a strong sense of justice and when I lost Jin, he begged to help me. Of course, he brought his knives.
"Is that a smile?" I asked teasingly. We both knew that he was going to torture Meghan and it was a matter of time before my brothers walked in the door. Of course, we called for back up from the crazy side of the family. The Bronx, Los Angeles, Compton, Oakland, Jersey, Baltimore, Chicago; just to name a few. It was only a matter of minutes before they arrived outside.
Later that night
Author's POV
Looking at each other, Dae and her brothers were ready to head out. Shortly after midnight, they dressed to kill and took a shortcut to Meghan's home. This was Dae's revenge on the woman that tried to make her life a living hell. Loosing Jin and Ji'nyah was the last straw after the death of Pops. However, after finding out that Marie was the one that pulled the trigger, she was still there. Blood was on her hands and Dae was more determined to make her pay. An apology wasn't enough, she wanted pain with interest.

Riding on the back of the motorcycle, Dae made sure that she left a note for Tony. Riding in the streets, she started to fell anxious. Leading the way, Daniel and Mossy made sure to have an alibi just in case. Dealing with gangs in his past, he was still respected by all. They made sure to clear the streets so that there was no traffic that would hold them up. As promised, he knew that Dae was in good hands to come along.
