What happens when jealousy come in-between family? Dae, Serene and Becca have to face their own hardships. Although they have each other, is sisterhood enough for them to get through tragedy, trials and betrayal?
Tomorrow was Serene and Lee's wedding day. Becca and I were still not speaking. This weekend is about Lee and Serene so, I made sure that I completed all of the paperwork for the competition with VCA. Pops wanted me to visit back home for the family reunion since it was at the house. Pushing my uneasiness aside, I wanted to focus on finding another building immediately after the wedding. Cody sent a wedding gift since he didn't attend.
Dr. Park and I, along with our staff, have been working extremely hard. There were some issues at the office with Molly and Ri however, Dr. Park wanted me to enjoy the wedding so we were scheduled for a spa day but decided to have drinks first. A spa treatment was just what I needed and Serene needed a break as well. I felt bad that the flowers stopped coming but, I guess it's for the best. I thought a nice massage would be good since it would relax my aching muscles and I can get my nails done.
Our dresses were in the room and we already checked in. The boys were checking in tonight but, Mike kept an eye on Becca for obvious reasons. Cody sent a gift for Serene and Lee but he was back in Italy. The three of us went to celebrate at the bar over some drinks. "Where are you going for your honeymoon?" I asked Serene. She told us that it was a surprise and she had her passport already. "I wonder if Lee leaks?" Becca asked while looking at the menu that hid her face. "Why would you want to know that?" Serene replied. "Lee is going to BREAK YO BACK. I know he has a nice piece of meat."
"WHAT?" Serene placed her hand on her chest. Shocked at her own outburst. "I can't help it if I notice certain things. Maybe you can let him tea bag you in the face." Becca added.
This was not new to me. Becca always behaved like this but, to me it wasn't funny anymore. Things will never be the same between us. "Can we change the subject? It's weird talking about Lee and his meat." I said.
"I have to meet Mike in his room anyway." Becca stood up and gulped the last of her drink. "Why?" Serene asked. I knew she was back to her old self again when she smiled at Serene giving her a warm hug. "I need help before I get dressed. Also, there's going to be a lot of salad tossing tonight." I continued to sip on my drink when she rolled her eyes at me.
The next day 2 o'clock...
We head back to the room to get ready after brunch. Once Serene sat in the chair, I tried to apply her make-up. I know she was nervous since she was shaking. Becca went to Mike's room after she got dressed but, something happened between them during the performance. She told Serene that she will be back on time.
After helping Serene in her dress, she went to the mirror and smiled. "I love my make-up." She squealed with excitement. "Okay, I'm going to pin my hair up." I walked to the vanity to pin my loc's while Serene took selfies of herself. Minutes later, Becca comes back while I help Serene with her veil. "You look stunning Serene."
She was nervous and Becca and I held her hand. "If I need to re-do your make up that's fine." I assured her. "No, I cannot cry with a beat face." She chucked as her eyes watered. "Mike beats my face with his-
"Becca, that's enough." I said. This was Serene's wedding day and I was just over Becca's antics. I walked in the bathroom to get dressed and apply my make-up. Becca waited outside the door and I looked at myself in the mirror before coming back out. Tears started to cloud my vision and with a tissue, I blot my eyes. I knew that I was going to get emotional today. Happy tears....happy tears. My bouquet was on the table.
