Jin's POV (Jin above)

After I left Mike's house, I went home to take a shower. I put my phone on the charger once I change my clothes. While brushing my teeth I hear my phone ring. Having a feeling that it's from work I ignored it. Rinsing my mouth out, I went to the living room to watch TV. For some reason I cannot fall asleep. I wanted to call Dae so bad. A feeling came over me thinking that I should call her. When my phone rung, I jumped up and ran as fast as I could upstairs to answer.

"DAE!" I huffed trying to catch my breath. Breathing heavy from sprinting up the stairs trying to answer the phone. I was worried that I would miss her call.

"Should I call you back?"

"Lee? What do you want now? I asked with disappointment while trying to catch my breath.

"I was calling because I wanted to know if you wanted to play basketball at the park."

"Huh? Um. I don't know."

"You're waiting for Dae to call aren't you?"

"No." I denied quickly. At that moment, when I those word escape from my mouth, I felt regret because I knew it was l lie.

"Let me ask you this. How can she call you without YOUR phone number?"

There was a silence to my soul; I felt the chill down my back, a lump in my throat. My brain didn't register since I failed to realize that we didn't exchange numbers. Deep in thought, I close my eyes and bit my lip.

"I thought so. What's stopping YOU from calling her?

"Because I didn't ask for her phone number Lee."

"You still ain't sh*t. We will meet up later."

After ending the phone call with Lee, I thought to myself: "Is Dae thinking about me?"

Dae's POV

I'm so tired. Looking over these forms for the competition was a headache. Worried that we cannot afford the rent on the new lease the pressure starts to set in. If we don't have the money by the end of the year, we're screwed. Hopefully Jong and I can come up with a solution.

During my break, Ri went out to pick up our order from the café' and I started thinking about the Gala. I went online to get some ideas since I needed to go shopping for a new dress. The dresses that were in my closet were nice but I needed something that was more formal. Trying to look at some evening gowns, my phone buzzed and Jong's picture popped up on the screen. I answered the call:

"Hey."

"I'm sorry to call you while you're out on your break."

"I wasn't doing anything. Besides, I'm in my office. Is everything okay?"

"I was calling for two reasons."

"Which is?" Swallowing hard, I was waiting for bad news as my palms started to sweat.

"I wanted to get your opinion on the location for a property downtown ."

"Is that it? You said that there were two reasons that you called." I was relieved that it was about business as usual.

"Since you're curious, I can come to your office since Molly dropped off my food already."

"Sure."

Minutes later Jong came in and sat his food on my desk excited. He sat in the chair and crossed his legs while tapping his fingers on my desk. His hair was  neater than usual and I knew his suit was brand new. Ri came in and placed a bag of food between us. She looked at me then at Jong and back at me smiling from ear to ear as if her cheeks were going to burst. She placed my smoothie in front of me. Before leaving my office, she gently taped me with her elbow. "Enjoy, but not too much."
