Chapter Twenty-Six

It's around sunset and Y/n is wondering around the woods, she has her music playing but before, David yelled to her telling her not to go in to far because it'll be dark soon, but they reached him, letting him know they wouldn't go far. She wondered in and out of the forest, checking how dark it is, and where she's at.
She wandered around for awhile, she found a book, a notebook really, but didn't bother to pick it up, She just kicks it around, it could be someone's from the camp or just around. It shouldn't be out here and why would someone just leave it right here, especially this close to camp. If it's supposed to be hidden they did a really shitty job at it, so, she kicks it around.
Eventually, darkness roles around, she's kicked the book so much that some of the main pages are all crumpled and some torn. The owner won't be happy with it. "Their fault." Y/n shrugs and says to herself singing along to the music that was playing but kept walking through the forest. She could see fairly well, she wandered out of the forest seeing her way around, she didn't quite know where she was at, so she kept going till she was out, she looked around her, knowing her surroundings and in time, she walked toward the camp once she found out where they were at.

~Meanwhile at the camp~
Max's POV

"Where the hell is she?" I asked the counselors, obviously upset.
"I don't know maybe she was eaten by a bear? Never know till you find them or the remains" Daniel gave an evil smile at me, I glared up at him.
"Daniel! That wouldn't happen she knows what to do and how to fight.. Maybe not a bear but she knows how to fight! Also, she's smart enough, I'm sure she's on her way back!" David says getting little upset at the identical blonde, god.
"She'll be fine Max, I'm sure like David said, on her way back." Gwen reaches me, I nod at her. Daniel looks at me for a second then says.

"Awh how cute do some have feelings for once? or someone?" He smirks

"You're disgusting, of course, I don't I hate everyone here," I say monotone, I see David and Gwen's expression change.
"Y/n? Do you feel the same? Oh and about time you showed up, we were all worried about you." I turn around and see her there, giving Daniel a death stare.

"Fuck off Daniel. And no I don't like anyone here. I already told you, nosey little fuck." She said the last part quietly which it made me laugh a little. But I could tell she didn't mean it, by the way, she said it too... I'll have to make sure.

"Y/N LANGUAGE!" The 'twins' said in unison. God, they're annoying.
Y/n rolls her eyes and walks to her tent and I follow. "You alright?" I ask peaking in. She looks a little shocked?
"Y-Yeah I'm fine, sorry about just then, just I'm not going to admit when he's right their y'know? which I'm guessing that's what you did?" She hopes

"Yeah," I walk in "I didn't mean it at all because that would kinda defeat the purpose of what I asked a few hours ago, y'know?" I ask mimicking her.

"Pfft, Yeah, I know." She says smiling at me.
"Well, I'm going to sleep now, night n/n" That caught her by surprise, she looked up at me.

"Uhm. Night? Alright.." I smiled at her and walked to the two real counselors.
"Hey, Max? You alright?" David asked I know was shocked he asked me that.

"Yeah, I'm fine why?"
"Just wondering earlier, with you and y/n and all." He was concerned??
"Yeah, we just did that because" I look around "we don't want Daniel to know is all. So we'll deny it if he or anyone bring it up if someone's around that we don't want to know. We'll deny." I explain "You're lucky I'm explaining this to you tree man." He smiles and nods, I nod back at him and back out of the room, going to my tent to finally sleep.
