Chapter Four

Max's POV

Her smile or she isn't cute... Well maybe... I think to myself, recently I can't get her out of my mind and its sorta bothering me, but not entirely? God, I don't even know anymore...
"Hiya Max! Watcha lookin' at huh?" Nikki said looking out of the tent with me "Hmm.. Is it... Nerris? Orr, Erid?, OH Or is it y/n?" she said listing off names I felt my face get hot when she said y/n's name "Awhh! Thought so! Ah, how cute of you" she said shaking her head smiling.
"Shut up!-" Wait... I turn around and see Neil sitting on one of the beds, "Goddammit" I say quietly to myself "I fucking swear to god if you tell her a damn thing."
"Max oh my god you have feelings!"
"Wait what?" I was caught off guard by that.
"You have feelings for someone other than negativity and hate! That's.. That's kinda surprising I don't know why... And don't worry I won't tell her, but you have to sometime soon at least or else"
"Or else?"
"Or else Nikki will tell her and she could make a big deal out if it and yell it being the excited girl she is so that most or all of the campers including the counselors could hear.."
"Damn Neil when did you get devious? 'Bout time and I will I will." Oh god I might not, I need to though, I can't let anybody else know.. Hmm... How to do it though? Nah ill just go up and tell her, it can't be that hard right?

"So Max when are you going to tell her? Next week? The span of next week?" Nikki says getting all happy and jumpy.
"Uhm m-maybe?" Nikki smiles mischievously like she has a plan, oh boy, here we go.
"How about I tell her if you don't next week! Alright? Allllrigght!" She says answering it herself and running out to hang around one of the other campers. Hopefully, not-nope it is her ugh N I K K I

"So, you gonna tell her yourself or is Nikki going to?" I sigh and respond a couple seconds later
"Ugh, I'm gonna try to later this week." I roll my eyes and flop onto my bed looking at the ceiling of the tent, oh god this isn't going to be easy it's it?

Nikki's POV

I run up to y/n and sitting by her in the dirt, seems like space kid just left since he's just a couple feet away WELP.
"Heyyy y/n right? Could I ask you something??"
"Wow kinda straight to the point aren't you?" she gave off a small tone of annoyance... PERFECT.
"Welllllll, I was wondering if you liked someone in camp yet! Like Harrison, Neil, space kid, Max?" Her face seemed to get a little red when I mentioned Max hahaaa,
"N-no, I don't... Maybe.." I laughed a little.
"Oooo so I'm guessing... Max?" I smile widely.
"Pff n-no, of-of course not!" I heard her quietly curse for stuttering.
"BAM dead give away that you do!" I smile at her
"God dammit." She whispers to herself "Shut up! So maybe I do? Sooo what? Just please don't tell him."
"Oh I won't, don't worry." she glanced at me.
"Hmmh... You better not because if you tell him a thing-" I cut her off with my giggling, oh geez, that's perfect. "Stop giggling!" She stood up and walked off to her tent blushing, I race back to the tent and pulled or Neil and dragged him a little ways away from the camp. "Neil guess what!!"
