Watching Billy from the passenger seat, sweet talk Mrs. Wheeler at her door actually makes me want to throw up. It's so cringeworthy to me that at one point I had my hands covering my eyes. Yes, it was that quick for him to jump back to his cocky self. Earlier I saw a side of him that I don't think I'll ever see again. He didn't talk about it after, and I didn't force him to, we just...left it at that. I guess there's a part of us telling each other that it should never be brought up. Though his ways did change the way I look at him. I thought I could bring him down with this recording in my big windbreaker pocket but I can't–not like this. I can't break him like that so harshly. And I have no goddamn idea why I have this caring feeling for his wellbeing now. He's horrible, that's that. I'm mad at myself for not being able to be that bitch.
And the craziest part is that he makes me feel so high. I'd only ever feel like this when I'm not sober.

Earlier I told Billy his stepsister would be here if she wasn't at the arcade. And as for Dustin, if he isn't in the Wheeler's basement well then it's hopeless. He's out somewhere, hopefully safe. I'm kind of disappointed and little sad because not even Steve has been seen since the morning coffee with him.
Time passes until Billy is finally back in the drivers seat, adjusting himself as I start, "Was that really necessary?"

And then suddenly we're facing each other, and I can still shape out his sharp details. This time I hate it. I hate how I noticed his jawline and the curve of his lips. I hate how fucking soft I became for him ever since what happened. Damn it.
And that's where I know I fucked up. He knows it too. Just by the new look in his ocean eyes I can tell. Even though it's dark I can still see & feel his smirk. But what is out of the normal, is the aura.
