"Fuck you Billy Hargrove," I spat, his name on my tongue feeling vile.

It's not possible for me to ever live with his screw ups and lies.

"Do you love me? Do you fucking love me?"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He scoffs, "Diana you know I do!"

Shaking my head, my feet take me to the car door to open it. Sitting down, I close the door. From the right of me, I hear him faintly say, "Diana let me in."

"No. Not until you say it." A tear pours out my eye.

"Say what?"

"The truth."

"Diana I lo–"

I cant hear him say it. That's not the answer I was looking for, nor does he mean it.

Opening the door I immediately regret it as he steps inside the passenger seat and closes the door.

"I dare you to look me in the eye and tell me you love me!" He conjures up, not know it will backfire.

And I do exactly that. Because it's true.

I looks him dead in the eye, not even daring to blink. "I fell in love with you, I am in love with you, I love you Billy Hargrove. And I can't take that back. last year I never thought I'd be able to say that. My love for you is so real, I just don't go around throwing it at everyone. Thank you for showing me who you truly are and not what others said you were. But you turned out to be exactly who the person they said you are. But now I guess we have to go back to our old ways, where we hate each other...because you cheated on me."

"I was drunk."

I poured my heart out and he apparently only hears the last part.

The audacity of only having three words for your defense. That starts a laugh to abrupt from my mouth. "That doesn't justify anything! I got drunk last week and did I cheat on you?"

"She was–"

"Stop," I interrupt him, "I don't want to hear a word about her. Have fun with your fucking toy," I spit. "It was better that you cheated on me now than later, when you're in too deep."

"So what, you're just going to break up with me?" I notice his eyes turning a darker blue and his hand starting to clench his knee.

"Hell yeah I'm breaking up with you. You can't really expect me to stay! I don't share what's mine...what was mine." The only emotion in me right now is anger. The tears are dry, and I don't ever want to be cheated on any more times.
