XIV. Medyo Nagpuyat

Noong Lunes nagdownload ako ng movies. At nagfeeling zombie ako dahil doon. Yeah, I’ve watched four movies in a row. Yep, straight kong pinanood mula 10:00 pm ng gabi hanggang 3:00 am. Ang resulta tinalo ko pa ang bangag at may hangover! My head hurts at nawawala ako sa wisyo. Abnong abno ako. Pero hindi ko naman pinagsisihan ang ganda kaya ng mga movies na pinanood ko.

Yung una at ngayon paborito ko na e ang 16 Wishes, it’s all about Abby Jensen who’s having her sweet sixteen birthday. She had a list. A wish list for her birthday. 16 wishes yun at mayroong isang, let’s say fairy god mother na magtutupad ng mga iyon. Pero may mangyayari kung saan hihilingin niya na mawala or sana di na nangyari ang mga hiniling niya.

Why I love this movie? Dahil ipinakita nito na… well, sabi nga ni Abby, “Everything I need is right here.” Kailangan nating makuntento sa kung anong mayroon tayo. Well, it may not be exactly as we wanted but still, it’s the best. Right?

The second movie is Radio Rebel, it’s all about Tara Adams, a shy senior high school student who dreads talking to others in other words— a walking potato. Pero Rhodora X lang ang peg ni Tara. Dahil sa kwarto niya nagkakaroon siya ng isang mundo where she can say all she wants especially for the common good. She’s a podcast DJ named “Radio Rebel”. Nobody knows that she’s Radio Rebel not until her step dad saw her and when she told her best friend about it. The movie is great! You should see it!  

Why I love this movie? Simple lang, DJ Radio Rebel says there that, “Just be yourself.”

Well, in my honest opinion, it doesn’t matter if people will like you or not, what matters most is how you see yourself. Ghad, I sound like DJ Radio Rebel. Hahaha!

The third movie is, “Teen Spirit”. This is about Amber Pollock a gorgeous, mean and snobbish yet popular high school student who died after being hailed as their Prom Queen. How did she die? Her crown ends up being electrified after an accident with her boyfriend's car.

While she’s in Limbo, yung parang boundary between heaven and hell. An angel named Supervisor J-3 gives her the task of returning to her high school as a ghost para tulungan ang least popular student sa kanila na si Liza Sommers upang maging Prom Queen sa make-up Prom na gaganapin after a week of her death. Kapag nangyari ito, she’s going to be forgiven and will go to Heaven and if she didn’t succeed she’ll be in the next shuttle bus going to Hell.

What is good about this movie? Sa totoo lang medyo corny yung way ng pagkamatay niya. Basta pag napanuod mo matatawa ka e. Pero ang nagustuhan ko rito e, iyong malapit na siyang magtagumpay e, tsaka pa siya sumuko ang rason niya, “I don’t want to create another me.” Yes, because Liza after she had a makeover she became popular and was able to date Nick, her long time crush. But she’d become like Amber, she became self-centered. Kaya ang ginawa ni Amber to “save” Liza dinala niya ito sa isang lugar kung saan sigurado siyang hindi ito makakarating sa Prom. And then she accepted her fate at sumakay sa bus papuntang impyerno. But of course! Sa langit pa rin mapupunta si Amber dahil kahit na hindi naging Prom Queen si Liza e, hindi na naman siya ang least popular sa school at ang maganda roon ang bagong least popular e, naging Prom King, si Raj – ang best friend ni Liza.

Ang panghuli, akala ko horror hindi naman pala! Medyo pa-suspense lang! Triple Dog Dare. Naloka ako sa palabas na ‘yon. Si Chapin Wright, isang high school student na medyo parang napariwara or something. Basta, on Eve’s birthday, naglaro sila ng Triple Dog Dare, like truth or dare minus the truth part. Pipili ka ng magdadare sa’yo kapag hindi mo ginawa yung dare ishashave ang buhok mo. Yay! Kaya dapat gawin mo kung ayaw mong maging kalbo!

Ang lupit ng mga dare! May tumakbo ng nakahubo, may umihi sa pintuan ng Principal, may nagkunwaring nangingisay sa isang resto, at si Chapin nagnakaw sa isang convenience store without getting busted. At yung dare kay Eve, maka-third base kay Whisper na ang love interest ay si Chapin. Pero hindi niya nagawa. Ang interesting part ay yung tungkol kay Stacey St. Clair, isang estudyante na tumalon sa isang bridge. Namatay four days bago ang birthday ni Eve. Walang nakakaalam kung paano siya namatay except sa mga kasama niya. May ilang nagsabi na depressed siya kaya tumalon, somebody had pushed her or someone dared her.

*Drum rolls* Chapin dared her to jump off the bridge none of them knew about the current so she died. So be careful, okay? Never provoke someone, okay? Tumalon din kasi si Chapin and fortunately, she didn’t die and Eve, got her head bald on the night of her birthday. What a birthday gift.

All in all, kahit sumakit ng sobra ang ulo ko e, naenjoy ko yung pinanood ko. And *drum rolls* the movies were available in Youtube! Full movie ‘yon! Kaya see it for yourself!
