Explaining (Chapter 21)

“Well….” Elizabeth starts to say and looks over at Lynn.

Lynn walks over to Elizabeth and hugs her, and then smiles.

“One day me and Lynn were sitting on my bed and heard a contest for One Direction tickets and meet and greets…. So we decided to call in and I didn’t win but Lynn did” Elizabeth starts to explain smiling as she remembers what happened so long ago.

“Then how did you end up in the hospital?” Niall says concerned.

“Well since Elizabeth was in so much shock she well… kind of fainted when I told her.” Lynn says with a serious face.

Elizabeth nods agreeing with every word that Lynn said.

“So why did you end up in the hospital? People faint all the time…” Harry asks.

“Well I hit my head pretty hard and lost my memory for a little while...” Elizabeth says looking at her mom.

“Oh, did you get it back? Do you need me to tell you my name again? I’m Louis!” Louis says sarcastically.

Elizabeth smiles, “ha ha very funny” Elizabeth says giggling.

“So that doesn’t explain your mom being in the hospital…” Liam says he realizes everything.

Everyone's eyes focus on Elizabeth’s mom

“Well, since I thought Elizabeth wasn’t getting better I started to get stressed. Along with my job, kids, taking care of my house and my husband… it’s a lot of work trying to control everything… I just kind of crashed” Elizabeth’s mom explains.

“So then why are you on the news saying that you went missing?” Harry asks confused.

“Well we told someone at the hospital that we needed fresh air and we went for a 'walk'. We had it all planned out to meet you guys” Elizabeth explains with a smile on her face.

“You mean I had it planned?” Elizabeth’s mom says to Elizabeth raising her eyebrow.

Niall’s POV

Maybe she does care about me. She escaped a hospital, risked her OWN health for me… Could she really care THAT much about me? Niall stop thinking like that… she probably meant she did all that for Luke. I have to think of a way to get her attention before Luke gets her attention… so what could I do? Hmmm….

 

Elizabeth’s POV

Niall seemed to be thinking… he always gets that cute little crinkle in his nose when he does… and he stares off into space (pic on side) hes just so perfect... But so is Luke, I wish my heart could just let me choose already, I will feel bad for  leading on Niall if I chose Luke but me and Luke had almost a connection right away…

Elizabeth feels her phone vibrate in her pocket, and quickly sneaks a peek at it.

Luke’s POV

I see that Niall still seems to care. Can he not take a hint? She obviously loves me, she ditched him for me right away…. She’s so cute when she looks down at her phone… but now she is frowning… why is she upset? I hate when she is upset, it makes me upset.
