Mom? (chapter 12)

Elizabeth's POV

How did I know she would do something like this? I knew it was to good to be true. Why would she want to do anything for me that would mean the world to me? Ugh, I guess next time I shouldn't get my hopes up so high.

Elizabeth's mom wakes up rubbing her eyes and then quickly glances at the clock, it's 4:10.

Elizabeth's mom POV

Oh crap... I was supposed to be in the bathroom meeting Elizabeth 10 minutes ago!! Crap, crap, crap...

Elizabeth's mom grabs her keys and quickly runs out the room. Once she gets down the hallway she collides with someone with a huge slam.

"oww! watch whe..." Elizabeth starts to say.... "Oh, hi mom" she says angry.

"Elizabeth I'm sooo sorry! Let's go we are going to go," Elizabeth's mom says with her eyes filled with tears about to cry.

"Ok come on mom," Elizabeth says looking at her mom.

Elizabeth and her mom stroll over to the counter and explain that they are only going to go for a long walk.

"Umm.. Mrs. I don't think I am able to let you go.." the secretary says.

"I AM going for a walk, I've been stuck in this hospital for god knows how long and I NEED some fresh air" Elizabeth's mom says with a little anger in her voice.

"Ok, I guess you two can.... Just make sure your back in a little while," she says reluctantly..

Elizabeth's POV

Is this really happening? I am going to go and see my Nialler! Oh my god, I thought we would have been stopped and the plan would have been ruined by now. I just can't believe my mom! She's the best! Maybe she DOES care, she just didn't know how to show it....

Elizabeth and her mom get in the car about a block away from the hospital. Lynn and her mom are already in the car anxiously waiting.

"Hey Lynn!" Elizabeth says super excited.

"Hi Elizabeth! I can't believe we are going to the concert together afterall!" Lynn says just as excited.

"Why were you guys in the hospital anyway?" Lynn's mom asks curiously.

"Well Elizabeth ended up fainting and couldn't remember anything. And I was just so stressed out that they said something was wrong with me," Elizabeth's mom explains.

"Oh, sounds like a crazy time," Lynn replies putting hte car in drive.

"HERE WE COME ONE DIRECTION!" Lynn and Elizabeth scream so loudly that people stare weirdly at them outside of the window. Lynn sticks out her tongue at them and the little girl that was by them giggles.

Hours fly by as the car goes through the state, occasionally stopping for Elizabeth's mom and Lynn's mom to take turns driving.

"Girls wake up we are here," Elizabeth's mom says shaking Elizabeth and Lynn out of their sleep.
