Elizabeth’s POV
I was dreading this moment so much, I really didn’t want to tell anyone. Niall does deserve to know, he is my boyfriend plus I just told him I would tell him…
*flashback* (the flashback is in Elizabeth’s view in the flashback like she is actually in the situation again. Hope that made sense)
“ I’m sorry to say this but we are done” Josh says.
“What..what do you mean we are done?” I ask with tears in my eyes.
“I mean we aren’t together anymore. I can’t handle you anymore, you are just so freaking clingy and a freak” Josh says covering his mouth regretting every word he said.
I walk away with tears running down my face.
“Elizabeth” Josh says tugging on my arm.
“Don’t you dare touch me again,” I say gritting my teeth as I walk away.
Elizabeth’s POV (in the flashback… this is what she is thinking in the flashback)
I need to calm down. What can I do to calm down? He’s just a stupid boy anyway. But the thing is I still love him even though he shattered my heart. What can I do to calm down… Hmmm, ugh. She looks at her razor.. I’ve always wondered what it would feel like; people always say it helps them. she takes the blade and drags it across her skin.. Ow, how do people like this? She slowly drags it across her skin again.. This does feel kind of good now….. The blood is so warm, it’s calming.
*end of flashback*
Elizabeth’s POV (right now)
I never knew that would be how my self harm would start…
“Elizabeth, are you okay? You were zoned out for like 10 minutes…” Niall asks concerned waving his hand in front of Elizabeth’s face.
“Yeah, I’m fine” Elizabeth say trying to shake the flashback out of her head.
“So” Niall says twiddling with his thumbs.
“Well, what do you want to know?” Elizabeth asks shyly.
“Ummm, why did you do it last night?” Niall asks looking into her eyes.
“Well…” Elizabeth says letting out a deep breath.
“I had a nightmare that morning, it felt so real. When I woke up I actually thought it was” Elizabeth starts to say.
“What was the nightmare?” Niall asks biting his lip right when he said it.
“It doesn’t matter. Anyway I kept asking myself a bunch of questions like, What if something goes wrong? What if it doesn’t work and I die because of cancer? What if the baby I’m carrying dies because I was selfish and had to get the surgery?” Elizabeth explains crying after she said the last sentence.
“Elizabeth” Niall says and rubs her back.
“Nothing will happen to the baby. Besides if you don’t get the surgery then you could die… causing the baby to die to.” Niall say regretting what he said because he sees a tear go down Elizabeth’s cheek.
“Elizabeth I didn’t mean that you were going to die.. I was just saying that…” Niall fumbles with words trying to explain it when he feels Elizabeth’s lips.
Elizabeth’s POV
What Niall is saying is true. I mean either way the baby could die. Besides I didn’t even want the baby… I didn’t even put in the work to get the baby inside of me… Well I always have said I wanted a baby, but not when I’m 15…
“Elizabeth what was that for?” Niall asks when they break from the kiss.
“Because you always know how to calm me down with words” Elizabeth says with a smile causing Niall to blush.
“Well we probably should be getting ready for bed.. Tomorrow is the big day,” Niall says with a faint smile.
“Yeah, probably,” Elizabeth says with a fake smile.
“Ok, night beautiful, I love you” Niall says going to the couch.
“Night handsome. I love you too” Elizabeth responds and starts to walk up the stairs.
She gets to the top of the stairs and then comes running down the stairs.
“Niall?” Elizabeth asks shyly.
“Yes princess?” Niall asks.
“Can you sleep with me? Just in case the nightmares come back?” Elizabeth asks like a five year old afraid of the ‘monster in the closet’.
“Sure” Niall says with a smile and grabs his blanket and pillow.

~~~~~The Next day~~~~~~~
“Hey doc.. I have a question,” Elizabeth whispers over the phone.
“Ok, sure what is it?” the doctor asks.
“Will this surgery affect my baby’s health?” Elizabeth asks.
“Ummm, Elizabeth.. what are you talking about?” the doctor asks confused.
“My baby. You know the child growing inside of me?” Elizabeth responds just as confused.
“Elizabeth. You need to come to my office now” the doctor says sternly.
“Ok, I’ll be there in an hour” Elizabeth says hanging up the phone before the doctor can answer.
“Niall wake up!” Elizabeth screams about to cry.
“What’s wrong babe?” Niall asks shooting up from his laying position.
“We need to go to the doctor’s office now” Elizabeth says with worry in her eyes.
