Unknown is revealed (chapter 62)

Niall looks at the man in front of him in awe, taking in all of his features. Trying to find out where he has seen this man before.

 

Niall’s POV

That can’t be him. No way, you are seeing things, you have to be. But it would make so much sense; I knew I knew his voice!

 

“Yes Niall you do know me, remember me?” unknown taunts.

“I’m not really sure, am I seeing things?” Niall asks playing dumb.

“No, you know who I am. Jackson. The one doctor who was DIEING to have your autograph,” unknown explains.

“I thought so, why did you want my autograph? Obviously you aren’t a fan,” Niall says through gritted teeth.

“Well it’s a long story that I’m not telling you,” Jackson explains.

“Why not? It’s the least you can do for everything you’ve caused,” Niall replies with an emotionless face.

“Because this isn’t a movie, I’m not going to just tell you my plan the whole time. It’s really stupid of them,” Jackson replies looking at his clipboard.

“You probably aren’t even a doctor, are you?” Niall asks.

“I’m actually not, you got that right,” Jackson says with an evil smile.

“Then why on earth are you here?” Niall asks raising his voice.

“To…” Jackson starts to say but then is cut off by a knock on the door.

Jackson turns to Niall and mouths ‘you say anything, Elizabeth gets it’ and then does a hand motion of slitting a throat. Niall just sits there in shock as the ‘doctor’ opens the door for whoever is on the other side. Niall closes his eyes   afraid of who is on the other side of the door but then hears his name screamed and feels arms thrown around him. He peels his eyes open to be met with the hungriest eyes.

“Elizabeth!” Niall screams and throws his arms around her causing Jackson to fake barf.

“What happened?” Elizabeth asks as she looks at Niall.

“Well, erm.” Niall starts to say and then looks at Jackson nervously.

“He got in a car accident; the kidnapper was stupid enough to take them out of where ever he was hiding them. He ran a red light according to witnesses, causing the car to be T-boned,” Jackson explains calmly.

“I know you! You were the one who wanted an autograph from Niall,” Elizabeth says beaming.

“Yes I am that doctor,” Jackson says with a slight laugh.

“Do you know the doctor who operated on me?” Elizabeth asks.

“Well I was supposed to, but my kid needed me,” Jackson explains.

“Oh it’s ok,” Elizabeth says facing Niall.

Niall’s POV

Thank god he had to leave, that’s probably when he got me and Luke. But what if he would have operated on her? NO, don’t think like that. I can’t believe all the lies he’s feeding her, it’s making me sick just hearing them all. I know I can’t do anything otherwise I’ll have Elizabeth taken away from me, I can’t do that to her now. Oh shit, she had her scan done a while ago; I wonder how that went…
