Elizabeth knows (Chapter 61)

“Even with the cops escorting us the drive was too long,” Louis says looking around the hospital.

“Yeah it was, wait this hospital seems familiar,” Liam says soaking in his surroundings.

“Yeah it does, wait this is the hospital Elizabeth is in!” Liam replies a minute later after thinking.

“I could have told you guys that.. idiots,” Lynn mumbles under her breath.

“Maybe we should go and see her,” Zayn suggests.

“Yeah, erm. Do we let her know what is up with Niall?” Harry asks looking around at everyone seeing their response.

“I don’t think we really should. I mean we should see how she is and then maybe we’ll tell her,” Liam explains calmly.

 

Elizabeth’s POV

That wasn’t Niall, nope. I’m crazy. Or was it? I mean I should really…

 

Elizabeth’s thoughts are interrupted by a knock on her door. She sits up and yells for whoever is outside of her door to come in.

“Hi Elizabeth!” Harry says loudly as he walks over to Elizabeth’s bed.

“Hi Harry. Hi guys,” Elizabeth says with a huge smile on her face as she watches the door as they all walk through the door. That smile quickly fades as the last person walks into the door.

“So how have you been?” Liam asks as he ignores that fact that Elizabeth’s smile faded.

“Pretty good, I’m getting my brain scan back today to find out if the c-cancer is gone,” Elizabeth says stuttering on the word ‘cancer’.

“Oh well that’s good, your mind can settle about that,” Liam says with a smile.

“True, or my world could be ripped apart because the cancer came back,” Elizabeth says with a frown and then looks down at her hands.

“I’m sure they got it all. You had like the best doctor you could have in the state,” Liam says trying to help Elizabeth ease her mind with positive thoughts.

“True, I just wish Niall could be here with me… where is he?” Elizabeth asks.

Just as those words escaped from Elizabeth’s mouth all the faces in the room went from a colored face to pale as a ghost. They were all dead silent, just looking at Elizabeth like she had three heads. Liam got a cold chill the minute she asked where Niall is; no one knew what to do… and then Lynn spoke up.

“Niall-got-shot,” Lynn blurted out and then covered her mouth quickly.

“W-wait, what?” Elizabeth asked as her eyeballs practically fell out of their sockets.

“N-nothing,” Lynn stutters and then looks at her phone.

“What does she mean Niall got shot?” Elizabeth asks eyes about to spill over with tears.

“He-“Liam began to explain and then was cut off by a knock at the door.

Where am I? Why can’t I move anything? Oh my god. I can feel something sharp piercing my skin.
