Shot heard around the neighborhood (Chapter 56)

Unknown’s POV

Why have they not moved? That’s odd; I figured they would have driven away by now. Hmm, why not have some fun and mess with them more.

 

Niall’s POV

Ugh he had to lock me in here; I should have helped them more, now they could be killed, my own band mates. All because they wanted to save me. I need to get out of here, or at least try and help them.

Niall looks around the room in hoping to find something to unlock the door. He looks under the want to be bed, nothing. He looks in a random drawer, still nothing. He turns to the closet and fumbles with the doorknob getting it open. Then something drops at his feet making a clinking noise.

“What do you mean it won’t go?!” Lynn screams.

“I-it won’t move,” Zayn says blushing pressing on the gas pedal.

“W-where did they go?” Louis asks looking around frantically.

“Ummm, we have bigger problems, THE CAR WON’T GO ANYWHERE!” Zayn screams at Louis.

“Shhh! Whoever is out there doesn’t need to know that,” Lynn whispers angrily.

“Sorry,” Zayn mumbles.

“Don’t you think it’s weird they stopped shooting at the car randomly? Like they are planning something?” Louis says looking around curling up in a ball rocking back and forth.

“They probably ran out of bullets,” Harry replies rubbing Louis’ back trying to calm him down.

Unknown’s POV
They really are stupid, they haven’t moved an inch… plus they didn’t really freak out from the bullets, maybe this will work.

 

“Hey Neil, how about you watch your friends die?” unknown says with a smirk opening a peeking hole on the door.

“P-please kill me instead, leave t-them all alone,” Niall stutters about to cry.

“Oh, Neil I’ll kill you… after I kill them first,” unknown says taking a dramatic pause then finishes with a huge smirk.

“W-why are you doing this? Why do you want us all k-k-killed?” Niall asks stuttering more.

“That’s none of your business,” unknown spats.

“Where are they?” Louis asks looking around worried.

“Louis! Shut up!” Zayn screams causing Louis to whimper and shrink back as far as his seat will let him.

Unknown slowly creeps up to the car but he hides behind a tree because he hears rustling behind him, but then realizes it was only a stupid squirrel. He slowly walks down the sidewalk because he’s trying to mess with Louis who’s looking out the car window at him. Unknown pretends to play with a little girl, at first she refuses so unknown starts to talk to her.

“Pretend you know me or you die,” unknown quickly whispers as he flashes his gun to the little innocent life in front of him.

The little girl does exactly what she was told; to pretend to know the person in front of her. Even though she’s only five years old she knows what that shiny object in the person’s hand is. She knows her life depends on that small object in the man’s hands.
