Niall? (Chapter 25)

~~at the boys house~~

“Hey lads have you seen Niall lately? I can’t find him anywhere?” Liam asks everyone.

“I was just about to ask you the same question…” Zayn says worried.

“Maybe we should all look around the house again, before we start freaking out...” Louis suggests.

“Yea, everyone split up, he’s probably eating or sleeping somewhere, can’t be too hard to find him” Harry says.

They search the house up and down, Liam sees something on the counter and walks over to it.

Niall’s POV
I wish they would just tell Elizabeth if her brain is still okay. It’s stressing me and her out SOO MUCH. We just want to know at this point what is up with her head… Well at least I think she is worried, I haven’t talked to her since the fight. I hope she doesn’t hate me….

 

Elizabeth’s POV

Ugh, why hasn’t Niall come and talked to me... He’s the one keeping me sane during this time. Maybe he thinks I’m mad at him for the fight… I miss Niall, I miss his smell, I miss his adorable laugh, his amazing blazing eyes, his blonde hair… ugh Elizabeth stop thinking about him, you’re going to stress yourself out… ugh, why can’t they just scan my mom already so I can know if my and her brain is ok or not….

 

~~at the boys house~~

“Hey guys I found something!” Liam screams.

Everyone runs right to Liam with pleading eyes, asking in their minds what he found.

“It’s a note, from Niall…” Liam starts to say

“What does it say??!!” Harry interrupts.

Luke walks by the room hearing Niall’s name and eavesdrops without being noticed.

“It says ‘Hey guys, by the time you find this I will be with Elizabeth, she left her phone here and I wanted to give her it. Please don’t be mad at me, I know her mom would kill her if she lost her phone ~Niall” Liam reads

Luke’s POV
I can’t believe him, he probably made that up! I need to go and show Elizabeth that I care about her to. But what could be my excuse to go and see her??

~~Back at the hospital~~

Elizabeth’s POV

Ugh, I’m all by myself, I wish someone would…

Her thought gets cut off with the sound of the door opening. She sits up and looks to see who it is. Josh walks in through the door looking at Elizabeth lieing on her bed.

“Hey how are you doing?” Josh asks.

“Fine,” she says bitterly turning her body from him.

“So I have a question for you…” Josh says blushing.

Niall is outside of the door listening in, already getting angry because Josh is talking to her by himself again.

“Ok, what is it?” Elizabeth asks sitting up

“Umm, are you and Niall dating?” he says barely getting the word ‘dating’ out of his mouth.

Niall’s POV
maybe I should go in there and break up this conversation… nah, I wonder what Elizabeth is going to say.

“Well, ummm… I’m sorry but yeah,” Elizabeth says lying through her teeth.

“I understand” Josh says upset and gets up and walks out of the room.

Niall’s POV

Did she really just say we ARE dating?! Oh my god! Maybe she does like me over Luke! Or did she do it to get Josh off her back?

Elizabeth’s POV
Oh my god, what did I do? I’m not dating Niall… why would I tell him that? It just slipped… my heart thinking before my brain… wait did I really just say my heart? Do I really like him that much that I thought that??

Josh’s POV

Well she lost interest in me and replaced me, I really don’t blame her. Niall’s a great guy, I hope he treats her better than I did….

Luke’s POV
I got an idea! I’ll tell the guys that me and Niall made up and he texted me that he wants me to pick him up. I’ll just change Ashley’s name to Niall and say he sent me the text ‘please pick me up? I took a cab and have no way home’ This is going to be perfect

Luke thinks laughing evilly in his head

~~10 minutes later~~

Niall walks into Elizabeth's room and sits down in a chair by her.

“Hey Elizabeth,” Niall says happily.

“Why are you in such a good mood??” Elizabeth asks confused.

“Eh, good game was on TV,” Niall explains lying.

“Oh, cool” Elizabeth says uninterested.

She hesitates for a minute, but then responds.

“Hey umm Niall can I talk to you about something?” Elizabeth asks shyly and barley auditable.

“Yea, sure. What’s up?” Niall asks confused.

“Well I…” Elizabeth is cut off by a nurse coming in. The nurse looks Elizabeth right in the eye.

“Do you want the good or bad news first?” she asks.

Elizabeth’s POV

Those words make my heart skip a beat…. Do you want the ‘good or bad news first?’

Niall’s POV
Please god, don’t let anything be wrong with Elizabeth; she has gone through enough…
