He's alive?! (chapter 70)

“What do you mean it’s his machine?” a nurse yells and runs over to the machine screen.

“I-I don’t understand this,” another nurse mumbles to herself.

The main doctor quickly glanced at the door number and busted in, looking around with hungry eyes taking in the hectic scene he had just busted into. His glance quickly flashing to Elizabeth but quickly at Jackson.

“Doctor? Wasn’t he supposed to be taken off of life support tomorrow?” the nurse asks reading the numbers from the screen and quickly scribbling them on a piece of paper.

“Yeah, he was supposed to. I mean no family came, no one to tell us to keep him alive. We tried to contact any family members but they all came to no one that knew him,” the doctor replies

“His pulse is gone! His screen isn’t showing anything,” a nurse yells.

“Move!” the doctor yells grabbing paddle electrodes (pic on side if you don’t know what that is :) )

“Niall I’m scared,” Elizabeth whispers to Niall.

“It’s ok, just come here,” Niall says engulfing Elizabeth into his strong arms.

The doctor presses the two paddles together causing a slight shock noise. He yells ‘clear!’ and presses the cold metal paddles against Jackson’s bare chest. Jackson still shows nothing, he rubs them together repeating the process, but this time Jackson lets out a huge breath. The doctor does it one last time, and then he looks over at Jackson’s monitor and sees that he appears fine.

“Sir? Sir?” the doctor begins to say loudly trying to get Jackson’s attention.

“1…2….3..” Jackson mumbles.

“What?” the doctor asks getting closer to Jackson.

“Elmwood,” Jackson mumbles again.

“What? I couldn’t here you. Sir. Can you hear me?” the doctor asks tapping on Jackson’s shoulder.

Lynn’s POV

Those numbers, those words. I know them, but from where? Where have I heard that combination of jumbled words?

“I think it’s he’s so out of it he can’t hear you,” the nurse whispers to the doctor.

“I-I can,” Jackson mumbles and slightly raises his finger to point at the doctor.

“Ok, sir. Can you give me your name?” the doctor asks as a nurse pretends to scribble words onto a piece of paper.

“Leave me alone,” Jackson yells weakly clenching his fist.

“Sir, we can’t do that,” the doctor states and firmly places his feet on the ground.

“LEAVE!” Jackson yells more aggressive.

“Maybe we should leave him; I mean it is like ten thirty at night. We don’t want him to wake up anyone. Plus I think she wants to sleep,” the nurse says gesturing to Elizabeth.

“But we can’t just leave him, for all we know something could be seriously wrong with him,” the doctor whispers back in a hushed tone.

“Well either you help him or you wake up at least a dozen patients if he hasn’t already,” the nurse states raising an eyebrow at him.
