Elizabeth’s POV
It feels really weird walking into the hospital with Niall in a disguise, in a way I feel like I am cheating because he looks like a completely different guy. But I know it’s him.
“Niall I am scared…” Elizabeth says walking through the hospital doors.
“It’s fine, you’ll be fine” Niall says grabbing Elizabeth’s hand.
Elizabeth’s POV
But what if I’m not fine? Will Niall think I am some weird freaky girl with this cancer? What if he breaks up with me because it didn’t get better? What if he has been faking this whole feelings for me things because he felt bad..... I can’t think like that. I have to be strong for me and Niall. I am going to be fine.
“What’ wrong babe?” Niall coos wrapping Elizabeth in his arms.
“Ummm, well, I have a question for you…” Elizabeth says into Niall’s shirt.
“What did you say? I couldn’t hear you. All I heard was mm mm” Niall says imitating her. (A/N sorry didn’t know how to write someone talking into a shirt :P)
“I said, I have a question for you” Elizabeth says more confidently than before but still hesitating.
“Ok, what is it?”Niall asks.
“Ummm, would you…” Elizabeth starts to say but starts to cry.
Niall hugs her pulling her into his warm, safe body.
“Would I what?” Niall asks confused.
“Would you… break up with me…if my… c-c...cancer got worse?” Elizabeth asks hiccupping.
“I would…” Niall begins.
“Elizabeth Jones, where is Elizabeth Jones?” a nurse asks looking around the waiting room.
“I’m right here” Elizabeth says looking at Niall.
Niall squeezes her hand and walks over with Elizabeth.
“Sir, you can’t come back with her.” The nurse calmly explains.
“What do you mean? I can’t be there to support her? I can’t be there when she gets the news? I can’t be there when her heart is broken when she finds out it got worse?” Niall says each word louder, but mentally slaps himself about the last thing he said.
Niall looks at Elizabeth. She has tears in her eyes about to spill over.
“Elizabeth! I didn’t mean that!” Niall yells looking at Elizabeth.
“It’s ok Niall, what you are saying is probably true.” Elizabeth says walking away with the nurse.
“Elizabeth wait!” Niall says causing the nurse and Elizabeth to stop.
“What Niall? What is so important?” Elizabeth says raising her voice.
“I just wanted to do this” Niall says pulling Elizabeth in for a kiss.
The nurse rolls her eyes and speaks up.
