“Elizabeth? Why do we need to go to the doctors? Your surgery is in a few hours,” Niall asks rubbing his eyes.
“I’ll explain in the car, I told the doctor we would be there in an hour so quickly get ready,” Elizabeth says with worry in her eyes.
“Ok,” Niall says taking off his shirt and changing into another shirt then takes off his pants.
“Niall! You could have told me you were changing! I would have gotten out” Elizabeth says covering her eyes and blushing.
“Who said I didn’t want you to see me,” Niall says with a wink causing Elizabeth to blush even more.
“I’m going to go and change, tell me when you are ready.” Elizabeth says walking out of the room quickly.
Elizabeth’s POV
I can’t believe Niall some days, he’s such a flirt ha ha. But I can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong, I mean how the doctor freaked out when I mentioned my child. It’s like he didn’t know. Maybe since I have a child inside of me I can’t get the surgery… If I don’t get the surgery I could die!
“Niall? Are you ready?” Elizabeth screams into the other room.
“Yeah, I am!” Niall says spitting out his toothpaste into the sink.
“Alright, then let’s go” Elizabeth says hesitating.
They walk to the car and Niall walks quicker so he can open the door for Elizabeth.
“Thanks Nialler, you’re such a gentleman.” Elizabeth says with a smile then kisses his cheek.
~~~10 minutes into the drive~~~
“So why are we going to the doctor?” Niall asks turning his head to look at Elizabeth (it’s a red light)
“Well, I asked the doctor about my child’s health if I get the surgery…” Elizabeth starts to say.
Cars are honking behind them causing Niall and Elizabeth to jump.
“Come on! We don’t have all day. Move it’s green!” a man yells out his car window.
“Shit,” Niall mumbles under his breath and presses on the gas pedal.
“So as you were saying?” Niall asks.
“Oh yeah, when I asked the doctor about how the surgery will affect the baby… he had no idea what I was talking about. What does that mean?” Elizabeth asks about to cry.
“I have no idea Elizabeth, but we will get through it together.” Niall says with a smile as they pull into the parking lot.
“I don’t know if I can do this” Elizabeth says hesitating.
“You can, we will go when you are ready, but just remember you told the doctor you would be there in an hour. So if you want to make it on time you have ten minutes” Niall says with a chuckle.
~~~5 minutes later~~~
“I’m ready Niall” Elizabeth says getting out of the car.
“Ok, let’s go” Niall says holding Elizabeth’s hand.
“Hey, I’m here for an emergency appointment” Elizabeth says as her knees go weak.
“Elizabeth Jones?” the receptionist asks.
“Yes, that’s me,” she responds hesitating a little.
