**Trigger warning – there is some self harm in this chapter and some abuse. Both of these things are serious things, and are not a joke. I’m not trying to offend anyone with this chapter.

“Hel- what are you doing here?” unknown asks when he opens the door.
“We got a phone call about a guy chasing a little girl down the street,” the officer responds as another man shows up behind him.
“Really? That’s terrible, is she ok?” unknown replies with fake empathy.
“Yeah, she’s ok, just scared for life… When the little girl was asked how the man looked she described someone that looked like you,” the officer explains walking toward unknown.
“Well I haven’t left the house in a few day, right Neil?” unknown shouts.
Niall’s POV
Was he talking to me? Probably, he can never get my name right.
Niall quickly gets up grabbing the door knob to the room he’s in and it’s surprisingly unlocked.
“What?” Niall asks walking over next to unknown who’s facing away from Niall.
“The police officer accused me of going after a little innocent girl, please explain to him I’ve been here for the past few days. I’ve been taking care of my sick friend,” unknown says with a slight frown.
Niall’s POV
Wait sick friend? That must have been the other person I heard the other day. So he has two people kidnapped that I know of… what if he has other people to? How long has he had this other person?
“Wait, aren’t you Niall from One Direction?” the other officer questions looking Niall up and down.
“No, I wish, that guy is loaded with money. I get that a lot though,” Niall lies out of instinct.
Niall’s POV
I just lied to a cop, I’m pretty sure that’s illegal.. Should I keep up with the lies?
“You never did answer the previous question,” the first officer chimes in.
“Oh, sorry, yeah he’s been here. The poor guy in the other room is sick as a dog,” Niall lies smoothly.
“Can we see him?” the first officer asks looking into the house.
“Sure,” unknown replies stepping to the side completely throwing Niall off.
The officers walk into the other room as unknown quickly disappears with them, still not letting Niall see his face. The officers and unknown are right outside of the room when unknown pipes up.
“Are you sure you want to go in there?” unknown says quiet loudly and then there’s a hoarse cough coming from inside of the room.
“Ok sir, you don’t have to yell, we are right here. And I don’t think it’ll be a problem going in there,” the officer says grabbing the door handle.
“Well I think he has the measles, so go in at your own risk,” unknown warns.
“Measles?” the other officer questions looking at unknown earning a nod from him.
