~~~That same night~~~
“Niall?” Elizabeth says turning over on her other side.
“What?” Niall asks half asleep.
“I’m scared; I had a nightmare…” Elizabeth says crying.
“What was it about?” Niall asks sitting up.
“Well, I died because they couldn’t get rid of the cancer. It spread too quickly and just took over my body…” Elizabeth starts to explain but then starts to bail her eyes out.
“It won’t happen” Niall says hugging and rubbing Elizabeth’s back.
“Ho.. how.. do.. you know?” Elizabeth asks between hiccups looking at Niall.
“Because I won’t let it” Niall says wiping her tears away with his thumb.
“Thanks Niall, I think I can sleep” Elizabeth says with a fake smile.
~~~~A few minutes pass~~~~
“Elizabeth?” Niall asks rolling on his side to face Elizabeth.
“What Niall?” Elizabeth says half asleep.
“You're still ticklish.. right?” Niall asks getting closer to Elizabeth.
“No, why?” Elizabeth lies through her teeth.
“I’ll see about that” Niall says tickling her sides.
Elizabeth’s POV
This tickles so much... Elizabeth don’t laugh… don’t laugh…
Niall tickles her harder, this time on her feet.
“Niall ..stop... it! Ok ..yes I’m... still ticklish!” Elizabeth says in between laughing.
“You lied to me… Hmmm how should I punish you?” Niall says then smirks.
He starts to tickle her again, this time in her armpits.
“Niall! Stop! I’m going... to pee... myself if you… don’t stop” Elizabeth says laughing.
“Next time don’t lie to me.” Niall says getting off of her then kisses her on the forehead.
“Maybe” Elizabeth says with a smile.
Niall gets up about to tickle her again.
“Ok! I won’t” Elizabeth says putting her arms up in defense.
“Good” Niall says with a chuckle.
“Night Niall” Elizabeth says giving Niall a peck on the cheek.
“Good night beautiful, I love you” Niall says causing Elizabeth to blush.
“I love you to” Elizabeth says drifting to sleep.
~~~~~The next day~~~~~
Elizabeth’s POV
Wo, its only 8am? Geez, I don’t want to wake up Niall maybe if I just… Crap he has his arm around me. How am I going to escape without him knowing? Hmmmm, I’ll just put the huge stuffed animal in his arms instead of my body being there. *she does it* Oh crap he’s moving around, he’s going to wake up…. Phew he didn’t wake up, awww he snuggled with the stuffed animal.
she walks down the stairs, almost tumbling all the way down the stairs because she's half asleep.
“Hey mom, what are you doing up right now?” Elizabeth asks her mom.
“Eh, I woke up because I was hungry” she responds.
“Oh, ok” Elizabeth says.
Elizabeth’s POV
I think I should bring up the surgery thing, maybe my dream was some sort of warning, most of the time they come true so I doubt this will be that one time it doesn’t happen….
Niall’s POV
Why am I cuddling with a stuffed animal? Where is Elizabeth?
he rushes down the stairs but stops because he hears Elizabeth and her mom talking and listens.
“Mom, I have a question for you” Elizabeth says hesitating.
“What is it?” her mom responds putting down her coffee cup.
“Well, you know how I have cancer?” Elizabeth says cracking on the word cancer.
Her mom nods her head telling her to keep going.
“Well, when I got the paperwork they told me I could get surgery…” Elizabeth explains.
“Ok” Elizabeth’s mom says.
“They told me that every second counts for my health and my baby’s… I’m kind of thinking about getting the surgery” Elizabeth says blushing.
“Are you sure you want to?” her mom says worried.
“Yeah, why?” Elizabeth asks confused.
“Well, we really don’t have the money for that kind of thing….” Elizabeth’s mom says looking at her coffee.
“Oh…” Elizabeth says messing with her hair.
“Good morning!” Niall says coming into the kitchen.
“Morning” Elizabeth says upset.
“What’s wrong?” Niall asks concerned.
“It’s nothing…” Elizabeth says lying.
“What did I tell you about lying?” Niall says raising his eyebrow.
“It’s nothing Niall, I’m fine” Elizabeth lies again.
Niall raises his arms about to tickle her.
“Ok, fine…. Well, I want the surgery for my cancer… but my mom can’t afford it” Elizabeth says quietly barley getting the last sentence out.
“Then I’ll pay for it” Niall says confidently.
“Niall I couldn’t let you do that… no way. That’s too much money.” Elizabeth says quickly.
“You are my princess; I said I would do anything to help you out. Besides I have a ton of money. It’s fine,” Niall says rubbing Elizabeth’s arm.
“Are you sure?” Elizabeth says uncertain.
“Yes, I’m sure” Niall says kissing her forehead.
Elizabeth’s POV
I’m not sure that Niall paying for my medical expenses is a good thing… I know he means well but that’s too much. I guess I will just have to deal with it, he’ll argue no matter what I say. Besides I have to do everything and anything to keep the human inside of me healthy along with myself… Time to call the doctor back, yay, let the long, torturous journey begin… Elizabeth's smile turns upside down into a frown.
