Elizabeth’s hair whips her in the face as she falls with Jackson’s arms in a death grip. She hears the air whooshing and howling in her ears, unaware of when she will make contact with the ground. All she can do is hope for a soft impact. All she can do is hope she survives, all she can do is hope this isn’t her time to leave earth.

Elizabeth’s POV

I’m going to die; I didn’t even get to say a real good-bye to Niall. I didn’t get to feel his arms around me one last time; I didn’t get to feel his lips pressed against mine for the last time. I didn’t say a good-bye to Lynn, or any of the boys. Not even my family. Oh god, I never thought of my family…

With that last thought Elizabeth and Jackson smash into the concrete sending pain from head to toe in both of their bodies. Somehow Elizabeth ended up on top of Jackson causing him to receive most of the impact. But even though Elizabeth may have been not gotten a lot of impact she still just fell three stories. Paralyzed with fear and shock Elizabeth instinctually tries to sit up but is met with a stabbing feeling in her stomach, a sharp pain in her head, and pain shooting up her whole arm. She quickly lies back down but begins to examine her stomach only to be met with a huge bruise. She looks at her arm to be met with a noodle looking arm; just dangling there in an ‘S’ shape.

Niall’s POV

I can’t believe I let her go. Just like that she was gone. I didn’t even try to stop her; I just watched her run away from me. She didn’t even hear me say I love you too. That could be the last time she hears those words. Her last words on earth and I didn’t say them loud enough…. Niall stop thinking like that! She’s going to be fine.

Nurses and doctors quickly whoosh passed Niall causing his thoughts to be broken up. He looks around trying to find out what is going on. And then he hears ten words that break his heart ‘A girl was flung off the roof with the shooter’ and his heart and whole entire world was shattered.

 Elizabeth’s POV

I want as far as I can be from Jackson but I can’t. I physically and mentally just can’t. As much as I want to be away from him I can’t leave, firstly I can’t move. I’m lucky to be alive right now. But I can’t just leave him, he’s also injured. And hasn’t moved since the concrete met with his body. He got the worst of it, I wonder if he did that on purpose.. probably not.

Just as that last thought runs through Elizabeth’s head she looks up at the building she had just been flung off of. It was at least three stories; her life could have been ended just like that. Just as she begins to look to her side, she hears people running.  Rushing quickly to her side, poking and prodding her as her eyelids start to get heavy and close.

“Ms, you need to stay with us, try and stay with us,” a paramedic urges as Elizabeth’s eyes flicker open.

“What is your name?” the paramedic asks checking Elizabeth’s pulse.

“Elizabeth Jones,” she replies with slight pain in her voice.

“What happened?” the paramedic asks still trying to find Elizabeth’s pulse.

“Well a guy flung me off the roof with him, but he got most of the impact,” Elizabeth replies motioning to Jackson.

As soon as Elizabeth mentioned Jackson’s presence a bunch of paramedics swarm him trying to get a response from him; any response they can get. Even if it’s just one mere breath.

“So where does it hurt?” the paramedic asks turning his attention to Elizabeth.

“My stomach hurts, my head hurts and my arm hurts,” Elizabeth says lifting up her noodle like arm.

“Well it looks like your arm got the worst part of the fall,” the paramedic says as a bunch of other men gather around and lift her onto a gurney.

“Yeah,” Elizabeth says sighing in slight relief.

Just as the men begin to lift her into the gurney they realize that she’s bleeding heavily from her head. They inform Elizabeth right away but don’t bother to wrap it because the hospital is right there. They work quickly but carefully to life the rest of her body onto the gurney. Then just as her last limb hit the gurney they immediately wheeled her off into the hospital.

“Well, Elizabeth Jones is here, currently she’s having pain in her right arm, head is bleeding heavily and she has slight bruising on her stomach,” a man explains as she is quickly brought into the room.

Niall’s head snaps immediately after hearing Elizabeth’s name, for a minute all he does is just stand there. Shocked. Concerned. Worried. He quickly runs over to the gurney with his bleeding girlfriend on it.

“Please tell me what’s going on,” Niall pleads as he runs with the nurses.

“Who are you?” a nurse asks.

“Niall Horan. Her boyfriend.” Niall responds.

“Are you family?” the nurse questions as they get closer to the designated room.

“No, but listen her family isn’t here and they will want to know what’s going on with her, please just tell me,” Niall pleads again.

“Sorry but no one is allowed back here,” the nurse says and then shuts the door in Niall’s face.

Niall slides down the wall and begins to pull his hair, completely frustrated.

“Sir, you can’t be back here,” a doctor says and looks down at Niall.

“But my girlfriend is in there,” Niall says eyes about to pool over.

“I’m sorry, it’s the rules,” the doctor says sympathetically.

“Ok,” Niall mumbles and then at a snail's pace walks to the waiting room.

Niall begins to pace in the waiting room only to be met with the same noises as when Elizabeth was wheeled into the hospital. But this time it was more chaotic, more loud, more crazy. He sees a man being wheeled into the hospital, but he doesn’t have to hear a name to know who it was.

“This man was the shooter that threw Elizabeth Jones off the roof with him. All we know is that he took most of the impact, he hasn’t been responsive since the fall,” a man says as Jackson is rushed through the hospital.

Niall wants more than anything to walk over to Jackson and start screaming at him for all of this mess he started but he wouldn’t be able to hear it. All Niall does is rush to the bathroom barely making it in there before his tears could make a splashing sound into the sink..
