(Y/N) was placed on a different gureny when we reached the hospital. The two paramedics rushed and pushed her down to the E.R, making noise so that people could move out of their way. I tried my hardest to keep up with them as they were basically running in the hospital. A nurse stopped me from following the paramedics once we reached a pair of doors, holding me back as I forced myself to pass by her.

"I'm sorry sir, but no one is allowed to pass through these doors!" She said, pushing me back and calling another nurse to help. I stopped and sighed as I saw that (Y/N) was already out of sight. I bet they already have her cut open. I kissed my teeth, turning my backs on the nurses and walking, going over to the waiting area. I sat down in one of the chairs, placing my head in my hands, letting out another deep sigh.

What the hell happened? Who did this to (Y/N)? And why? There was only so many questions I had in my head, but all of them were left unanswered.

I threw my head back in fustration, flinging my hands up in the air. I then heard footsteps come closer to me.

"Hey, heard anything about (Y/N)?" Signe said, clearly out of breath. Marzia, Mandy, Molly, Bob and Wade were standing behind her, also panting like dogs.

"Sit down, you guys look like a bunch of animals." I first stated, pointing to the chairs behind them. They did as said before I contiuned. "And no, we just got here. Those stupid nurses won't let me see (Y/N)." I looked over to my side, playing with my finger. I picked at the dead skin around my nails, my packing gradually getting more violent as time progressed.

Somehow, I feel like this whole situation is all my fault. I feel like if I were to be with (Y/N), none of this would be. If I were to warn (Y/N), we wouldn't be here. But no, I couldn't have. I couldn't have because I'm helpless. I can't do anything.

"Stop that, you're going to make yourself bleed." A hand came on top of mine. I looked up to see who the soft hand belonged to, and it was no other than Marzia. She had a small reassuring smile on her face while her thumb slightly caressed the back of my hand., which put me at ease, somehow. I was instantly lost in her brown eyes. Her eyes filled with hope when faced with a situation like this.

"Come on, don't put yourself down. None of this was your fault, so don't blame yourself." She said. Marzia is that type of person that's always filled with hope. Even when it seems like her life is falling apart. While everyone else is in despair, she's beaming with hope, hope that everyone would keep their head up and look on the brighter side. That's what's so beautiful about her; what's likeable about her.

I placed my hand on top of hers and gave back the same gesture, completely unaware of my actions. Immediately, both of our faces turned tomato red, and we looked away from each other. My hands flew over my mouth, in total shock of my actions, and so did hers. I haven't been like this around her. I've been close with Marzia, even kissed, but this was different, it had a different feeling than before...

"Er-um-ah...." She hesitated. "W-we should wait t-to see what's w-wrong with (Y/N)." She said.

"Y-yeah..." I agreed, pulling out my phone to play some games to ease up the awkward tension.

--

I was shaken awake after being asleep for a few hours. All of this made me stressed out, which caused me to pass out for a few hours. Once I woke up, I looked around to see what was happening. (Y/N)'s sister, Mr. and Mrs. (L/N) were here. And so was a doctor. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and focused on the woman with a clipboard in her hands.

"You're the family to (Y/N) (L/N), correct?" All of us nodded. "Alright, my name is Dr. Zoë, (Y/N) doctor." She adjusted her glasses.

"The surgery on (Y/N) was a success, she did lose a lot of blood, but she's alright now. She's in her room recovering, but do any of you know what happened to her? She had shards of glass all over her neck, arm and leg, and police suspected that it was a planned attacked." I tilted my head to the side, confused. "Do any of you have a guess on who could be her attecker?"

"Well," I started to speak up. "Yesterday, she wasn't home, she was over at someone's house. I'm not sure who's house it was though." I said, hoping what I gave was something that could help with the developing investigation. The doctor nodded before calling the two police officers over. She told them what I said and they said that the information that I gave them would help further on.

"Alright." Dr. Zoë told the officers before sending them off. "You guys can see (Y/N) when she wakes up again." She turned to face us. I nodde, and a small smile appered on her face as she looked at me.

"Felix, she's alright. Don't freak out like you do, it could end up in some serious consequences." She lightly chuckled before going off to talk with another family, leaving me dumbfounded. What's that supposed to mean? I shook it off and got up, dusting my pants off and ready to leave. I shoved my hands in my pockets, unaware how aggressive I was, that was until.

"Felix, are you alright?" Marzia came up and placed her hand on my arm.

"I'm fine." I repiled roughly, walking faster. She lightly jogged to catch up with me.

"Are you sure? You seem-"

"I said I'm fine!" I said more violently than before, flicking her hand off of my arm. In the act, my elbow came to contact with her nose, making her head fly backwards and her to fall on her butt. My eyes went wide as I looked behind me to see what havoc I caused. Shit. I didn't mean to...

"Marzia..." I quietly mumbled and quickly crouched down to her level. Her long hair blocked anyone from seeing her face. On top of that, she held her nose in pain with both hands. "Crap, I-I didn't mean to.." I panicked.

"Someone please go get her some ice." I, with shakey hands attempted to flip her hair back so I could see the damage I caused, but then pulled back because she might not like that. 'What the hell do I do in a situation like this?'

All of a sudden, Marzia flipped her hair back with her head with a sniffed, wiped her eyes while her face was visible. Her eyes were big, red and all puffed up. Did I hit her that badly? Shit, I need to be more careful.

"I'm alright." She said while Wade came back with an ice pack in his hand, handing it over to Marzia. Marzia used the sleeves of her pink sweater to wipe some tears. "I'm alright, don't worry about me."

"You just got elbowed in the nose, and you say not to worry?" Signe asked, which made the injured girl laugh. Glad to know that she's not bawling her eyes out.

"I'm fine, just a few strach-" She was cut off by dark red fluid falling onto her sweater and floor.

""Just a few starches" my ass." Signe said, taking her by the hand and picking her up from the floor. "Tilt you head back." Signe lead her to a chair and I ran over to grab some tissue paper.

"Here," I handed the paper to her. "I'm so sorry Marzia. I really didn't mean to. It's just that this whole situation is stressing me out, and well, I don't handle stress-" Her beautiful laugh cut my long train of thought.

"Felix, I'm alright. Don't worry about me. You act like a nose bleed is going bleed out and to kill me, I suffer from things like this all the time." Marzia conformed with a smile. I sighed deeply, feeling as if a heavy weight left my shoulders.

"Glad to know you're alright." I mumbled.

"Now please, let's go, don't want to spend a lot of time here, do we?"
