Despite the fact that all we did was sleep, I can safely say that it was the best night of this trip. It was nothing but silence, something that I needed and lacked throughout my years of high school, it was a time for me to collect my thoughts and organize them and I tried to enjoy that moment for as long as possible as it’s unfortunately going to be taken away from me again.
The smell of coffee woke me up, but I refused to get up to that intoxicating odor. The sun’s bright smile glaring through the window also made it hard to open my eyes. I finally mustered up enough courage to fight back against the heavy light and open my (E/C) eyes, my eyes burning as I looked around the room.
I tossed and turned out of Sean’s grip, and sat up on the side of the bed. Looking behind me, the boy had his body sprawled all over the bed, his hand unconsciously looking for my body. Cute...I only bent over to kiss his cheek that was facing me and my God did I feel refreshed when I stretched out my skinny limbs before leaving.
I left the room, the smell of bacon getting stronger as I entered the kitchen. I placed myself on a stool near the island and watched the figure dressed in a pink towel cook the food.
“Good morning.” Felix said while serving me a plate and cup. I murmured back the gesture and said thank you before drowning my pancakes in maple syrup. One big bite at a time and I was basically finished when Felix turned around to look at me. I asked for a few more sasuages, two pancakes and a strip of bacon, and he was quick to give me what I ask for. The blue eyed boy turned off the stove, sitting down across from me with a pink towel wrapped around his head and a big cup of coffee in his hands.
“You look like a mom.” I said, stuffing my mouth with half a sausage and a big piece of pancake before taking a sip out of my cup.
“I’m aware.” He replied, sipping from his navy blue mug and we sat in silence, the only ounce of noise coming from my fork and plate colliding. For the minute or two we were sitting in silence, I glanced back at him to see that he looked mad or something. His tongue was propped against his cheek and his eyebrows were slightly furrowed. All while a hot aroma circled around him like a group of paparazzis. It was all too odd for a bright and peaceful morning like this.
“Something wrong?” I asked, tilting my head to the side. He shook his head no, but I knew he was lying. My glare became harder, and once we made eye contact, he huffed and sipped from his cup before speaking.
“Remember when we had to divide ourselves between two cars and I was in the same car as Signe and Molly?.” He started, scratching the back of his neck. I nodded my head. “Well, a few minutes after we started driving, I fell asleep and they started….talking- I don’t know if I should be tell you this.”
“Felix…” I murmured, making sure he doesn’t go off track. I dislike that shit with a passion. Bringing something to my attention but then trying to let it slide pisses me off to the point where it should be considered as an act of disrespect. It irks my soul.
“(Y/N) I-”
“Felix.” My voice became harsh again, my galre becoming ice cold, I was technically staring daggers into his soul. “Don’t do that shit, you know I dislike it.” I stuffed my mouth with food as he gave up under my overwhelming stare. He clicked his tongue, realizing the fact that I would actually snap his back and kill him if he proceeds with his trick.
“I only closed my eyes, not my mind and they were talking. About you. They said how you’re too controlling and demanding - they called you a baby bitch. Signe said you always act like you’re the shit and Molly said you can get annoying real quickly, especially at the Spring Dance when you won best girl. They called you a bitch baby, acting like you’ve been born with a silver spoon in your mouth - when you haven’t - the list goes on.” The expression on my face stayed neutral, my hand tensing around the green cup that held my now cold coffee.
“They even said they wouldn’t have came here if I didn’t beg them to.”
“Is that so…” I mumbled.
“I don’t want you guys to fight or kill each other - we’re family, you know?” My eyes shot back up to him, my eyebrows risen. I could tell my stare was deadly by the way he shivered as a chill ran down his spine. He gulped, instantly taking back what he said.
“Last time I checked, family don’t put each other down.” I said and got up from my seat. I placed my used dishes inside the sink and wiped my mouth, heading for my shared bedroom.
“Just promise me you won’t hurt them or anything.” He asked with a quivering voice.
“Promises are meant to be broken.”

After a refreshing shower, I quickly brushed my teeth, dressed up in something comfortable and tied my (H/C) hair in a bun. I slipped into my slides and placed my phone in the pockets of my sweatpants before leaving the room. Before I could even open the door, a hand came over my head, keeping the door in place while a body pressed up against mine.
“Morning.” Sean mumbled in my ear, placing a kiss on the back of my neck. I quickly ripped his hand off the door, opening and leaving. “What you mad about?” He asked while he followed me.
“Don’t worry, I’m not mad.” I replied, violently walking down to the living room. I threw myself onto the couch rather harshly, still infuriated about the fact that they would say something like that. Especially Signe, who I thought was my ride or die. I’ve placed my life in her hands out of sheer trust, just for her to turn her back on me like this? The way I have helped her when she was in her darkest of times, when she was in trouble or needed some advice, just for her to say I have a silver spoon in my mouth? Not to be rude or anything, but if that loathsome, clout seeking bitch didn’t meet me, she wouldn’t have had a name in White Rose. She’d be a reject. And don’t even get me started on her little sidekick Molly. All that girl knows how to do is hide in people’s shadows - like mine, in hopes that someone would find the slightest bit of interest in a spiteful and humiliating tryhard like her.
Speaking of Satan’s children, the two mistakes walked into the living room to only make a U-turn to the dining table once they saw me on my phone on the couch. I could feel their sour glare on me and it started to get annoying. The irritation only became bigger when I started to hear giggles from them and slight mentions of me. If those two ain’t the definition of two faced, I don’t want it. Felix and Mark soon came, placing themselves on either sides of me after they said their hello’s to the Two Broke Girls rejects.
“You seem a little salty.” Mark started, turning on the T.V. after retrieving the remote that he sat on. “Want some sugar to balance things out?” I could hear the shitty smirk while he spoke, intentionally lowering his already deep voice as he talked near my ear.
“Don’t even think about it.” I quickly hissed, holding onto Felix’s hairy arm.
