Let me hurry up and start this before I get too deep in my feelings bUT-
Two books. 148 chapters. One adventure. (And one tired author)
We’ve done it again. We’ve remained strong and finished up the biohazard series. We had each other’s back and pushed through all the way to the end. And I can’t be any more grateful to a) finish on New Years Eve and b) have had amazing people like all of you be here with me.
I said this before in a previous author’s note and I said my only intention in writing books is to make a memorable experiences for whoever has decided to give my books and I a shot. And I still stay true to this. I don’t care about reads, votes comments, followers, I don’t care about any of it; it means nothing to me. The only thing that does is when I hear people liking it. That’s all I want from these books - to hear that people are enjoying themselves, either from me and my spelling mistakes or my extremely painful to read plot, as long as you get a kick out of it, that’s all I need to keep on going.
I’ll admit, I made some big mistakes that could or could not have been helped, like that writers block that lasted for 13 days, or the fact that I went some weeks without publishing anything. Another thing is how the ending was rushed as I’ve put myself on a timer (chapter 88 and this were written on the same day, December 31). It just happened, and I don’t have any reason to cover it up. But other than that, Poison and Antidote went the exact way I wanted it to go.
Another thing I’d like to say is that a) I was disgusted in myself for trying to write smut (Antidote, chapter 84). I was actually cringing while writing. I guess my human instincts kicked in and realized I was writing about a grown ass man who lives on the same planet earth as I do. And honestly, I now regret writing chapter 30 in Poison and basically any other smut chapter.
And b) I got a little disappointed when no one called out a small little change in the book. I guess its because me and my hyperactive self expected someone to point it out instantly, but after what happened at the park, when Sean basically confessed to (Y/N) and he said that he found himself, ever since then, (Y/N) has referred to Jack as Sean. I thought it was something cute, but since no one caught onto it immediately, I got a little bit sad. That’s in no way shape or form any of you guys’ fault, I just got too excited on something so small and meaningless.
Other than that, I’d like to say from the bottom of my heart a huge thank you to all of you who stuck with me through thick and thin, even at times where I wanted to drop this book completely either because I was mad at me or wattpad. Even the ones who got mad at me for regurgitating dead memes or not using proper logic in here and wanted to drop this book. It was a long and eventful journey, but like a wise man once said, all good things have to come to an end.
Thank you once again, and I’ll see you, in the next book.
Happy New Years!
-Tasha.
