Troy

I was just watching TV while tita is in the kitchen preparing the dinner. I glanced at my wristwatch to check the time. It's almost 7 and she's still not here.

Troy, just give it another hour.

Kasabay ng desisyon kong 'yon, nag-vibrate 'yong phone ko— indication na may nagtetext sa'kin. Agad na chineck ko 'yon.

Rig: I have something to show you.

Napilitan akong magreply dahil baka tungkol 'yon sa kotse. Baka nagka-gasgas o ano, mababasag ko talaga ang pagmumukha niya. Haha.

Me: What?

Rig: Sending... :)

I gave it a few minutes and when my phone beeped again, I immediately checked it. The jerk sent a photo of him lying on my bed.

Me: I'm going to kill you, Rig. I told you not to stay in my room!

Rig: Be more considerate man. Look at my left eye.

After reading that message, I got back on the picture and zoomed it in. I saw bruises on his left eye. What the hell has happened to him?

Me: Whoever did that to you, tell him my thank you's.

Rig: Ouch. Well, it's your sister. Hinampas niya ako no'ng bag niya at tumama sa mata ko. But dude, honestly, all of these isn't what I really want to show you. Maybe, it would be best if you just check them when you get home.

Me: Just send it right now if you want to have something comfortable to sleep on tonight.

It took him almost five minutes to respond to my last message. When my phone beeped, I immediately clicked on the message notification. But before I could actually see what the jerk has sent me, I saw Miracle getting in.

"Sugar."

She just glanced at me and then ran upstairs quickly. She was crying so my heart began to panic! What happened?

Tumango ako para sumagot.

Umiling ako.

"You can go upstairs and check."she authorized me.

Umakyat agad ako at kumatok sa kwarto niya nang nasa tapat na ako rito. Nakailang katok at tawag na ako sa kanya pero hindi siya sumasagot.

"Sugar. Let's talk, please."

"Go away, Troy!"she eventually spoke up. "Go away!"

"Alam kong may problema ka. My shoulders are ready... just like the good ol' days."

"I don't need anyone! I just wanted to be alone so go away!"taboy niya ulit.

Enough Troy. Magagalit lang siyang lalo kapag igigiit mo pa. Nagpaalam ako sa kanya at saka bumaba na. Before leaving their place, nagpaalam narin ako kay tita Ry at tito Ashton. They even invited me to join the dinner but I declined. Nasa loob na ako ng taxi no'n nang maalala ko ang message ni Rig.
