"Let's get this fuckin' all-nighter started, baby!" Nick cheered as he and Nikolai walked in, carrying bags of snacks and whatever else.

I looked over at Albert with a frown.

"I told them about Julian and they insisted on coming over." he explained, looking quite unamused himself.

"This isn't a party, guys. We've done enough of that and look where it got us." I said with a sigh as I pointed in Julian's direction. "I appreciate you guys coming but we're just gonna be watching him all night. It'll be super boring."

Nick started unloading the snacks onto the kitchen counter with a grin. "That's why we're here! To make it less depressing."

"That's why you're here." Nikolai shook his head and walked over to us. "How is he doing?"

"He threw up a couple more times and passed out again." I said as I looked down at Julian with a hint of sadness in my eyes, as it hurt me to see him in pain. "I don't think he'll wake up again for a while, so we can just chill for now."

Nikolai placed a hand on my shoulder and looked down at me with his signature soft and reassuring smile. "We can take shifts." he pointed at Albert, Fab and I, who were all yawning. "You three go sleep for a while and we'll wake you in a few hours to swap. Sound good?"

"Yes!" Fab shrieked.

"Hallelujah!" Albert rejoiced.

"That's very kind of you Niko, but I think I'll stay on watch with you and Nick."

"Suit yourself." Nikolai said, knowing it'd be pointless to argue because I wouldn't change my mind.

"Wake me immediately if anything happens—if he wakes up...anything." Albert said to us. I could tell he was probably just as worried as I and I was glad he'd be getting some sleep, because he had work early the next morning.

"Will do." I gave him a two finger salute, but I knew I'd only wake him if something terrible happened. "Goodnight!"

Fab and Albert left to go to bed and I softly pressed the back of my hand to Julian's forehead. I was relieved at the fact that his temperature had gone down and I wiped some more of his sweat with a cloth. I then looked over to the kitchen to see Nick dancing with a bag of tortilla chips.

"What are you doing, Nicholas?" I asked with a raised brow.

"I'm making nachos!" he said with a grin as he began to raid the refrigerator.

Nikolai chuckled softly at my unamused reaction.

"Your best friend could've died and you're making nachos...at one in the morning..?"

"Yep!" he replied, popping the 'p'. "But to make me sound like less of an asshole, I knew he wouldn't die...and I'm pret-ty stoned."

"That isn't making you sound like any less of an a-"

"What's that?!" Nick cut me off. "...I'm only making one plate for myself?"

"I'll kill you!" I whisper-yelled, shaking my fist at him. He laughed as I slowly stood up to prevent Julian from stirring and I jogged over to the kitchen. Nikolai shortly joined us.

"Do you want some coffee, Niko?" I asked him, pulling some cups out of a cabinet.

He nodded. "Yes please."

"I'm sorry about this, guys." I said with a frown as the water boiled. "We ran into Karen and she invited us to her gig and it was all pretty crazy. I left Julian for a few minutes to tell Albert where we were and then I ran into Adam. I shouldn't have left. I'm so stupid, I just-"
