Chapter 7 - Saviors

FLASBACK:

 -What the hell, are you doing Brian?!

-Brian?! - I said in shock.

He didn't say anything, and took advantage of that moment of Evelyn's hesitation and trew me to the side just to knock out my friend. Then he turned back to meagain.

-Please, you don't want to do this.. - I tried to look a bit more cofident and change his mind about hurting me,but all it came out was a terrified trembling voice.

As I closed my eyes,to not think of the situation I was in, I swear I saw a shadow move behind Brian and thought how I needed help right now.

CURRENTLY:

- Jade keep your eyes closed, I don't want you to see this. -Said a familiar voice.

I did as Damien said and kept them closed. All I heard was Brian getting stabbed and falling to the floor,at the same time I felt someone wrapping me around their arms as I passed out from all the alcohol I had drunk. "Everything will be okay"

NEXT DAY MORNING:

I was having a dream, Nick and I were talking, laying in the grass looking at the stars and when I turned to him, he was gone.

I woke up to the sound of Evelyn talking.

-She's waking up.

- Where am I? - I said still a bit dizzy and with a huge headache from last night.

- You're in Jeremy's house, darling. -Damien responded.

-Are you okay?- Jeremy asked half-whispered to me.

- Yes,besides this headache.Evelyn are you okay?

- Yes hunny, it was just a scratch don't worry.

-C'mon, let's eat.. I'm starving. -Jeremy was as usually, always hungry.

-Hey, can you talk a bit less louder? I'm hungover.

-Oh sorry.

I got up from Jeremy's guest room bed and looked around the bedroom. It was beautiful, very simple and very big. White walls, except one painted jungle green. The hole bedroom theme was jungle like. As well as my life.

-Do you like it? - asked Damien with a challenging voice.

-Yeah, it's a bit funny. Can you tell me what happened last night, please?

-What's the last thing you remember?

-Someone holding me, then everything went dark.

-Well, to begin that someone was Jeremy. We left Snoopy's a short time after you left. We decided to go to the beach to see the ocean and on our way we encountered Eve and you, and we saw you, girls were having trouble... so we helped you.

- I didn't see you at the bar.

-That's because I was in the dance floor.

-Thank you, for saving us. What happened to Brian?

- He died. Everybody, except you, Eve, Jeremy and I, thinks it was a robery gone bad. We have to go to his funeral tomorrow.

I was shocked, I had to pretend I didn't know what really happened that night.What about his parents? What were they going to say to Brian's little sister?

-Let's go. I'm hungry. - said Jeremy coming from the kitchen.
