Chapter 55 - Uncover

FLASHBACK:

I was wandering around to find a dress for her, until a deep emerald green caught my eye. I walked to the dress to see it better.

It was gorgeous and it would look amazing on her. It was make of silk, had a deep v on the back and it was long and tight enough to make her amazing body, even more amazing.

- Eve!- I called her out.

- Wait a second! - I followed her voice and turned back to see her coming of a dressing room with a tight and long,dark blue sparkly dress.

-Oh my... I love it! You look amazing! - my mouth instantly fell open, she looked so beautiful. The dark blue made her red hair and pale skin stand out - I was about to show you this dress for you but, I think you have already found a dress.

- Don't be silly Jade! - she chuckled - I want to try on more dresses. I want to be flawless! - she laughed and took the green dress from my hands.

CURRENTLY: 

After she tried tons of dresses, it all came out between the emerald one and a black strapless dress.

- Two brilliant contestants, but only one can win... which one will the people vote? - I laughed, and tried to encourage her to choose a dress - C'mon Eve, which one do you choose?

-Ugh...- she took a long breath - I know! No, wait... I don't know! - she looked to the mirror and thought carefully - The emerald dress. - she stated with confidence.

- And we have a winner! - I hugged her.

-Let's pick a dress for you. - she said going away to explore the store.

How do I wanted to be dressed in the ball? What do even people dress to balls?

One thing I know for sure, I don't want one of those puffy dresses.

 Half an hour later she came back with seven dresses under her arms.

- Evelyn, do you really expect me to try on all those dresses? 

She just looked at me with a big grin and handed me the dresses.

The first one I tried was beautiful on the rack but I didn't like it on me. It was soft purple and it was full of glitters... and puffy.

-Nop, I am definately not coming out with this one! - I stated to Evelyn.

- Jade, please let me see!- her voice full of expectation.

- It's horrible. - I said coming out of the closet.

- Oh, Jade! You look like a little princess! - she chuckled - It looks so cute on you!

-It's not funny. - I pouted and went back to the closet.

I was picking which dress should I try next, when the red of flowing fabric one fell from the rack I had put it  on. I pick it up and looked at it for a few seconds. 

The dress was amazing, it was so soft and simple, with only a few details on it. It had a V-neckline and marked the waist.

-Oh my gosh. - I blurted out.

-What?! Jade come out. - she demanded.

I dressed it quickly and came out.

 Harry, I'm home! - I warned him. Arriving finally from the shopping spree Evelyn made me do, because it wasn't enough for her to check out just one store. It was already 7:30 p.m.

His footsteps could be heard racing down the stairs.

- Hi! - he made a cupcake smile (it's a super cute smile) - What colour did you bought?
