FLASHBACK:

DAMIEN'S POV:

It has passed five minutes since the last signal of life was shown.

"Please, Jade, I know you are strong enough to fight this, they gave you one more chance, c'mon love".

I still believed her ,even though I knew, she most likely wouldn't wake up. There was still hope she would wake up. I was holding on at that little hope.

NICK'S POV:

My eyes were getting watery. I still wanted to believe that she would wake up and I knew she was a fighter, but the odds weren't in our favor.

"Wake up baby! You have beat the odds one time, you can beat this."  I hopefully thought, although I knew she probably wasn't listening.

CURRENTLY:

They tried to revive her one more time. Nothing. I've lost her. I kneeled down in hopelessness. A loud gasp was heard in the room, making me look up.

- Time of death .... How the.. - I am sure that everyone in the room stop breathing for one second.

Her heart rate began to pick up again. Everyone was shocked, mouths wide open. To a flat line on the monitor to a perfectly normal heart rate. They started to check on her and everything seemed to be alright, she had just pass out. She would be alright.

JADE'S POV:

My parents and I were in the car, in  the radio, my mother's favorite music was on and she was happily singing it. I put my earphones to don't listen to her. My father had his eyes on the road. I chuckled, still being capable of hearing my mom singing. I turned the music up on my earphones louder and distracted myself looking at the river beside me.

All of the sudden I heard some beeping noise and woke up in a hospital room, gasping for air. Then everything blacked out.

I don't know what was happening. I could feel the mess around me, but I couldn't figure out in what kind of situation I was in.

I don't know why, but I remembered when someone leaned in quick to kiss me, and I sweared that not a single force on earth could stop the trembling of my hand.

Although I couldn't see his face, I felt safe and calm.

NICK'S POV:

-How long untill she wakes up? - I asked anxiously to one of the doctors.

-Hard to tell,  I've never seen someone coming back after they were dead for seven minutes, her brain can and most likely will have injuries, but we can't know how bad those injuries can be or if she really have any injuries, until she wakes up.

"At least she will wake up". My brain declared.

-Thank you.

- You have a fighter here. - The doctor said leaving the room.

She did it again. She survived again.

She must have some powerful guardian angel wacthing over her. "But how long do you think she will be lucky? Luck runs out"  My mind inquired. I didn't want to even think she could die. My whole body shivered just thinking about it.

DAMIEN'S POV:

I thought I'd lost her. I couldn't believe in what had just happened in front of me. She came back from the dead. I didn't lost my girl.

"She isn't your girl" My brain had the kindness to call me back to reality.

I listened carefully to Nick's question and the doctor's answer. She will most likely have brain injuries. Her brain was prived of oxigen for too long.

I will be here to help her, she has people who love her and will get her through this.

-Guys, I'm going home and rest properly. -Dianna told us, not knowing what had happened a few minutes ago.

- I'm coming with you, I need to get some sleep and I need to do some research. I've been up for two days straigh.

-You can go. Tonight I will stay with her. - Nick responded firmely, making me a little angry and mad.

-If you recieve any news, tell us. - I said leaving the room with Dianna.

NICK'S POV:

I didn't trust the doctors enough to let her alone for the night.

I noticed it started raining and to thunder. The weather has been crappy. She's afraid of thunderstorms. The doctor's said sometimes is good to talk to the patients when they're in a coma or just passed out, so what the hell?

- I'm always here to hold your hand, ok?I will hold you through the storm, and I won't even stop when the good weather comes back. I love you. I always will.

It was about 2 a.m and one of her doctors entered the room to check on her.

- Do you know what caused the cardiac arrest?- I asked quietly.

-It's strange because we found a substance in her blood stream that kills, but her body rejected the substance.

- Was her own body that produced the substance?

- No. It had to be administred to her. We already secured her room with guards outside.Goodnight.-the doctor said leaving.

How could she have that type of substance in her body? Only me, Damien and Dianna were here. It has to be someone on the inside. "Think Nick, think".

I eventually fell asleep on the little sofa, with my head in her bed and holding her hand.
