Chapter 68: Closeness

It's been 2 months since magbreak si Erick and Cha. My bestfriend changed a lot. She's different. The way she dress, the way she walked, the way she talk and her eyes. Whenever you look at her eyes you cannot really know what she's thinking. And she really had this aura that makes me feel like I really don't know her. Ive talked to Jake about this but he just shrugged and said that I should just let her be. Maybe he's right. My bestfriend has her first break up with her first love and I can say that it really sucks. We all had that . It makes me sad to see my bestfriend like that. :(

I invited her to my place. I really want my bestfriend back. All I want is bonding time with her. And guess what, she said yes, she'll come. Finally after soo many times of trying. I've invited her for The-hell-knows times but she would just ignore my invitation.

She came here with Jake. I know na si Jake lang ang sandalan niya ngayon. Hindi niya ata naisip na andito ako. Pero siguro ayaw niya ang ng drama. Baka kung ako ang nasa place ni Jake e magiyakan lang kami ni Cha.

"Cha, welcome. I missed you" I greeted her with a hug and she did not budge.

Pinadiretso ko na sila sa sala habang naghahanda kami ni Matthea ng merienda. 

"Awkward Huh?" Matt said to me while were busy preparing snacks I just give him a weak smile.

"don't be sad. Everything will be okay" I just nod. I just don't feel like answering. Parang ang weak ko kasi e. Hindi na talaga ako sanay.

Bumalik kami ni Matt sa living room with snacks. Naabutan namin slang nanunuod ng movie. We take our seats and watch the movie with an awkward ambiance. Si Cha hindi manlang namin naririnig magsalita. Maliban nalang nung nagpaalam siyang magCR. Nung umalis siya nagkatinginan kami ni Jake. And somehow parang nagusap kami gamt ang mata namin. It's like his telling us na he's gonna do something para kahit papano e hindi ganito ang treatment ni Cha samin.

Natapos na namin ang movie ng magkayayaan magswimming dun sa may likod tumanggi si Cha kasi wala siyang dala pero like always pinahiram ko siya ng damit. Tumanggi pa siya na humiram pero makulit ako kaya't napapayag ko siya.

Pinuntahan na namin sila Matt sa pool. Si Matt na naliligo na sa pool samantalang si Jake e hawak ang gitara niya habang tumutugtog.

"Oh andito na pala kayo e Tara na"  pagaayaya ni Matt. Agad kong hinila si Cha papunta sa pool pero nung malapit na kami sabi niya'y tatabian lang niya si Jake. nakakatampo pero wala kong magawa e.
