"Matilda, you're an actual idiot!"

Liza had screamed at her as soon as she walked through the door, blood from Edward's nose on her knuckles. She had come in with marks on her arms from where Evangelia and Edward's friends had dragged her away. However, Matilda thought it was worth it because Liza looked better, no tears were flowing down her face and she was smiling.

"Hey, at least you aren't crying anymore! I did my job and now you're not crying!" Matilda smiled back at Liza, happiness disguising the anger still built in her eyes. She had done what she needed for now. She still needed to know why, though.

Maybe she could find out. Then she could have a better reason to beat him again.

"Hey, do you wanna go to that nearby cafe? It's just a few minutes from our dorm, so we won't be going far." Liza suggested, drawing Matilda out of her violent thoughts. Matilda nodded, grsbbing a brush to try tame her messy hair after the 'Edward Incident'. Liza walked into the bathroom to change, whilst Matilda just threw on a random jacket and some trainers.

After Liza hadn't walked out for a good few minutes, Matilda decided to knock. She hadn't seen much of the campus due to... distractions.. and really wanted to find out where she would be staying for the next few years.

She waited another five minutes, but Liza still didn't come out. What was keeping her in there so long?

"Liza! Are you coming or what?!" Matilda shouted to the door, though hoping no one outside could hear her. She pounded to fist on the door again, only to nearly punch Liza in the face. "What took you so long?!"

Then she realised Liza had a full face of makeup and her hair had been pulled into a neat ponytail, obviously freshly brushed. Matilda only had a bit of makeup on, though she knew how long it would take to do something like Liza did. She couldn't really enjoy it, though, and neither could Liza. None of them could actually see if the colours suited them.

"Tomorrow, I will show you my favourite cafe on the entire campus. And their coffees are amazing!" Liza smiled, as if she and Edward never happened and she couldn't be happier.

Though, it was obvious. She had never felt worse in her life.
