"What am I supposed to do?" Poppy stared at her phone.
Fisher sat on the bed watching Poppy pace around the room. He felt like pacing himself. Sadie could have said anything in that video. Whatever it was could end what he had with Poppy.
"She's going to post it in like thirty minutes anyway," Poppy looked at him. "I don't want Mason to think that I'm forgiving him."
Fisher shrugged. "Then...let's not watch it. We can watch a movie like you wanted to-"
"My mom gets home soon. There's no time for a movie." Poppy looked down at the phone. "If I watch this I want to watch it with you. And we have about thirty more minutes together. The video is twenty three minutes."
Fisher gulped. What story did Sadie have to tell?
Poppy walked over to him. "So...should we?"
Fisher couldn't decline or she might think something was up. "Okay."
Poppy slowly sat on the bed. She held the phone on her lap and pressed play.
The unicorn danced across the light purple background.
"Hey awesome people," Sadie grinned. "Welcome to my channel, if you're new here. And hey to my usuals. So, today, as you may have seen by the title, I'll be telling you guys about my weekend. Specifically, my triple date. I have a lot to say because Saturday night was...," she put her hand on her forehead.
Poppy looked at Fisher. "She's going to talk about us again."
Fisher shook his head but deep down he was trying to contain his anxiety.
"I literally had another video prepared for today with me and Mason," Sadie titled her head. "He was going to do my make up. But this is so much better- and worse, if you understand. You will in a minute. So, let me let you know who went out with me and Mason that night. I mentioned them in my last video. And I assume they're giving me permission to use their names since they let me take pictures of them."
Fisher groaned and turned away from the phone then he ran his hand over his face, resting it over his mouth in frustration. Poppy stared at the screen not caring that their names were about to be called but about what was about to be said about them.
The picture popped up beside Sadie. "You guys know Char and Mason, and the two in the back are Poppy and Fisher. Now, Fisher is the kid I called "Creep" last week and Poppy is the girl who wears- or should I say used to wear paint covered overalls. She recently stopped after they started dating because Fisher's sort of a minimalist. Like, he's a finatic when it comes to these things. Cleanliness, fashion and rules are things that he's obsessed with. Totally adorable."
"I didn't give her permission to give her fans a biography about me," he shook his head not hearing the last sentence.
"He was hall monitor last year but I heard our principal got annoyed by how many times he complained about the students and decided not to give it to him this year."
Poppy looked at him.
"That's not true," he scowled.
Sadie ran her fingers through her hair and threw it over her shoulder. "Poppy, on the other hand, is his opposite. She's an artist and, like, everything is paint covered for her. She's all about being over the top with her clothes."
Poppy shrugged. She wasn't lying.
"She wears bright colors all the time, like you saw in the picture. So, they were cool. I also got Poppy's bff Liam to come with us. He was Char's date," Sadie smirked. "Anyway, we went bowling and me and Poppy are sworn enemies because she and Mason had a thing."
