Sadie walked down the hallway with a proud look on her face. She refused to look at the others walking past her. They gave her glares but she couldn't show them that she felt hurt. She had had enough of all of it. Everyone was pretending to love her out of fear before. She was a god to the school, having the power to destroy another schoolmate's reputation with just one video. But the people close to her were beginning to lose that fear. And the only person she'd hoped would love her didn't seem to even want to try.

His classroom door flew open. Sadie felt the air knock out of her lungs. For a moment everything began to move in slow motion. The only thing she could hear was her own heart beat punching her throat and begging her to drop to her knees and apologize to Pearce. He looked horrible. There were purple bags under his eyes and she could smell him a mile away. Alcohol. He smelled like alcohol. He held his box of things in his arms. His books were stacked high. His angry, betrayed eyes met hers. They walked past each other, both sharing a stare.

Sadie turned around to watch him walk away. She looked at the floor then at the other students. They were staring at her. "I didn't get him drunk."

They all turned away and acted as if they hadn't been staring.

She frowned and started walking down the hallway again.

Poppy glared at her as she walked by. "Does she really expect people to believe her?"

Fisher frowned trying to ignore the topic.

Liam shook his head. "I don't know what her plan was."

Fisher shrugged. "To get Mr. Pearce fired maybe?"

"But she got Poppy drunk too. It's obvious that that night had some big ploy behind it."

Fisher bowed his head, then he looked at Poppy. She looked angry. She had been shouting on and on about what had happened. She wanted to report it or tell their principal that Sadie had given both her and Pearce drinks but she had no evidence.

Sadie's video explaining that she hadn't gotten him drunk and that it was all a misunderstanding made gossip news. The followers who didn't know her personally believed her and supported her. They even grew to 500,00 plus on YouTube. But everyone else was suspicious. Things didn't add up with Sadie. They never did.

Sadie walked into the bathroom and rushed over to a stall. She quickly shut the door and began to cry. She didn't think he would get fired. She hadn't expected Pearce to act the way he did. Her plan was to get him drunk and get him to admit that he had liked her. But instead of being a silent drunk like she'd assumed he'd be, he reacted in a record-worthy manner. And videos of his behavior spread like wild fire.

Sadie opened her bag and unzipped her pencilcase. Then she took out her marker and wrote on the bathroom wall: "Life freaking sucks." She closed her marker. Her phone layed at the bottom of her bag. She furrowed her brows at the lit screen. She picked up the phone. One of her fans had sent her a link.

Hi, Sadie. Have you seen this? I'm sure you haven't. Or you would be flipping out.

Sadie clicked on it.

Jenna's face popped up on her screen. Sadie squinted. "What the-" Sadie's marker hit the floor.

Sadie saw Fisher standing with Poppy by her locker. She grabbed Fisher's arm and pulled him into the Mrs. Taylor's classroom.

"What are you doing?" Fisher yanked his arm away. "I was right in front of Poppy-"

"I don't care," Sadie put her hands on her head.

"What do you mean you don't care? You're supposed to care-"
