Sadie closed the auditorium door and looked around. There was no one there. She made sure the door was locked then looked around, walking down the stairs. She pressed her back against the wall feeling stranded. Her only way out was through the door across the auditorium.
The door to the auditorium began to bang. She flinched then prepared herself to sprint across the auditorium. She suddenly dropped to the floor when Charlotte appeared on stage. She stood with gloved hands decorating the set, adding roses to the veranda Juliet would stand on.
Sadie began to crawl on the floor, keeping herself close to the stage. She crawled on her hands and knees occasionally peeping on the stage to see if Charlotte had moved. She lifted her head when she was half way and looked at Charlotte. Charlotte's eyes met hers. She smiled at Sadie shaking her head.
Sadie furrowed her brows then looked at the door she was trying to run to.
Fisher stood infront of it making his way towards her with gloved hands.
Sadie quickly stood. She turned to run away but bumped into Charlie. Charlie grabbed her arms, yanking her tiny body off of her feet and over his shoulder. She screamed as loud as she could.
"Let me go! Please! You're making a mistake."
They all walked on stage and made their way backstage to the storage room. Charlie sat Sadie down a chair. She looked at the paper sat on the desk beside her. "Here," Jenna handed her a pen. "Start writing."
"Writing?" Sadie wept looking around at them frantically.
"Yes, Sadie," Mason folded his arms.
Sadie shrugged her shaking shoulders. "What am I supposed to say?"
"Tell your dad you love him," Charlotte's voice cracked, "and that this is the only way you won't hurt other people."
"But that's not true," Sadie shook her head. "Guys, I'm changing. I'm a better person now-"
"Oh shut up," Jenna shouted.
"It's the truth," she looked at Fisher.
He gulped.
"Come on, Fish. You've gotta believe me."
Fisher turned away feeling more nervous about what he was about to do.
"Please-"
Mason pressed the gun against Sadie's head. "Write!"
Sadie gulped then she turned to the paper and began to write.
Jenna stood above her shoulder to make sure she was writing the right thing.
They all stood waiting for her to finish. She flipped over the paper and continued. Then she turned to Jenna. "Can I have another one?"
"No! Finish this one!"
Sadie sighed then she continued writing. Her tears blotching some of the words. She finished by writing something in Chinese.
Jenna slapped the back of Sadie's head. "What does that say?"
Sadie gulped. "I love you."
Jenna smirked. "You think I'm stupid, don't you? Scratch it off! Right now!"
Sadie flinched and began to scratch lines on the last phrase with her pen.
When Jenna thought it was enough she yanked her to her feet. "Are you ready?" She looked at Fisher.
Fisher gulped then nodded. He walked over to Sadie holding a knife.
"Wait," Sadie screamed. "Please, WAIT!"
Fisher grabbed her hand and put the knife in it, squeezing her fingers around it.
She furrowed her brows as he took it away, staring into her eyes.
Fisher felt tears stinging his. "I'm...I'm so sorry."
Sadie nodded, taking a deep breath to find her peace. "I'm glad it's you," she gave him a slight smile. She frowned. "I've hurt you so much...I'm sorry. And I hope you forgive me, like I forgive you."
Fisher stared at the calm look that covered Sadie's face. He had never seen her that way...at peace. Her always furrowed brows were now relaxed and her face remained still. She shut her eyes.
"I...I can't," Fisher broke down. "Someone take this," he handed Charlotte the knife. "This is sick." He started walking away. He looked at Charlie. "Charlie...you're not...you're not crazy enough to stay...are you?" Charlie kept his eyes on Sadie.
"If you tell the cops," Jenna pointed at Fisher,"you'll end up dead just like her."
Fisher shook his head. "If you have morals you would all walk away. This is all on you now."
Charlotte watched Fisher disappear. She turned to Sadie again. Sadie quickly pushed her aside and started making a run for it. Jenna grabbed the metal bat and swung it knocking Sadie's knee out of place. Sadie cried out and fell to the floor.
"Sh*t," Jenna's eyes grew.
"Look what you did!" Charlotte screamed.
"I'm sorry!"
"Pick her up," Charlotte ordered the two boys left.
They rushed over to Sadie and lifted her to her feet, her other one bent and unable to touch the floor. They pulled her back over to Charlotte. "What about Fisher?" Mason looked at her.
"He didn't do his job," she stared at Sadie. "I'll deal with him later. Right now...we need to handle this problem first."
