Fisher stood on the sidewalk in front of his house waiting for Sadie's car to show up.

His brother had dressed him up in his best casual clothes. If Charlotte was going to be sitting around with him for a night, he had to look his best.

A mini van pulled up in front of Fisher.

He furrowed his brows and watched one of the windows scroll down.

"Get in loser," Sadie smiled. "We're going shopping."

The others in the van laughed.

"I don't get it," he walked over to the car.

Charlotte got out for him so that he could get in and sit in the back with Poppy.

He stared at her.

She sighed. "Get in. Poppy's in the back."

"Oh- uh, I know." He quickly got into the van and found himself beside Poppy.

She smiled at him. "Hey."

"Hey," he turned away focusing all of his attention on Charlotte who sat in front of them.

Poppy noticed. Her smile faded and she turned to look out the window.

Fisher looked at her then he looked at Charlotte. Charlotte saw nothing in him and the hard truth was that they were far from compatible. Maybe Poppy wasn't compatible with him either, but she actually liked him. Even if he was just dating her temporarily, maybe he could make them both have a good experience together.

He put hand on hers, then he held it.

She looked at him.

He smiled at her.

Sadie lifted her selfie stick at an angle that got a shot of everyone in the van. "Say cheese," she grinned at the screen.

Charlotte smiled at the phone then she noticed Fisher and Poppy in the back seat.

Fisher leaned his face closer to Poppy's and kissed her.

Sadie took the picture. She lowered the phone and looked at the picture. She smiled. "Thumbnail right there."

"What is it?" Mason looked at her as they stopped at the red light.

She showed him the picture.

He furrowed his brows and looked at the rear view mirror.

Poppy's head was on Fisher's shoulder.

Fisher's eyes met his and he quickly looked away.

"Hey," Fisher looked at Charlotte. "Where's Liam?"

"He's meeting us," she looked back at him. "He's taking his own car."

"So, why do we have to ride with you guys?"

"Because I needed to make sure you'd come," Sadie looked back at them. "I'm about to vlog, okay? So, try not to say anything that might land you in any trouble."

"You're vlogging our night?" Poppy sat up.

"Yeah. Problem?"

"Uh- yeah. I don't want to be-"

"Famous? You don't want attention?" Sadie mocked.

Poppy shut her mouth.

"Or is it that you don't want to be seen with me? Poppy, I don't know what problem you have with me, but I've clearly dropped my problem with you."

"Which was?"

Sadie raised a brow. "Can we just hang out for one night?"

"Not until you tell me why you really decided to hang out with me and Fisher."

Sadie looked at Charlotte.

Charlotte shook her head. Her eyes were wide.

"Because Charlotte likes Liam," Sadie blurted out.

Charlotte sunk in her seat. "I freaking hate you. You know that?"

Poppy furrowed her brows and Fisher froze.

"Is that true?" Poppy looked at Charlotte.

Charlotte sighed. "Yeah."

"And if I didn't invite you guys," Sadie shrugged," he wouldn't have come."

Poppy smiled at Charlotte then she looked at Sadie. "So, you're willing to put up with me so Charlotte can have a night with Liam?"

Sadie nodded. "Sure. She's my best friend." She looked at Charlotte and smiled but Charlotte saw right through her. The plan was much bigger than that. Their friendship wasn't real. There was something else.

Sadie turned on the light in Mason's mom's car. Then she put the camera on herself. "Hey, beautiful people. So, we're on our way to the bowling alley to hang out tonight. Say hi, guys." She panned the camera around the car.

Charlotte and Mason forced smiles on their faces and waved but Fisher and Poppy sat still.

Fisher looked at Poppy. "Are you okay with this?" He whispered to her.

She gulped then smiled when the camera landed on them.

Fisher stared at her then he turned to the camera and forced a smile. Attention was something, like Poppy, he didn't want.

Jenna layed on her bed watching her phone. Her views were moving up slowly. But she was patient. She was going to get the attention she deserved.
