(38) A Glimpse of the Future

Nikashi's POV

Once we stepped out of the violet portal, a secluded alleyway greeted us. The three of them roamed their eyes around the new environment.

"So ito ang ibang dimension." Karin muttered still looking at the surroundings.

Jugo silently observed the surroundings. As if searching for any threats to come out.

"May kakaibang aura dito and I don't like it." Suigetsu scrunched up his nose as if disgusted by this place. Then his eyes flicked towards me. It widened when it noticed something. "Bakit ka mukhang ganyan?!" he shrieked while pointing a finger at me. Then he looked at himself. "What the hell?!"

I looked at myself. I'm still at my transformation jutsu pero yung katawan ko hindi na animated. Oh yeah. I forgot about that detail.

Karin observed all of us with narrowed eyes. "Parang nag-ibang uri ang mga katawan natin. Ganito ba talaga dapat Nikashi?" she asked me with calculating eyes.

I sighed. Then I nodded. "Ito ang uri ng katawan dito sa mundong to. It's somewhat different dun sa ninja world. Dun sa ninja world we're kind of animated while we look solid here. Let's just say, ito ang isa sa perks sa mundong to." I explained in my male voice.

"I have a bad feeling about this. Tara bumalik nalang tayo habang maaga pa." Suigetsu freaked out.

Karin looked irritated. Kung nasa ninja world pa kami, malamang may anime vein na siya. "Ang reklamador mo talaga! Sige bumalik ka dun. Duwag ka naman."

Suigetsu looked offended and mad at the same time. "Anong sabi mo?!" he then stomped towards Karin's position.

I exchanged glances with a silent Jugo before I sighed heavily. When will those two stop bickering?

Amidst their bickering, I heard some voices inside my head.

"May mga tao sa tambayan natin oh."

"Mukha silang mayaman."

"Dating gawi ba?"

"Syempre. Kung may pagkakataon tayong magkapera, syempre gagawin natin. Tara."

I frowned. Those people will try to steal from us eh? I smirked. Well time to eat their own medicine. "Guys." Tawag ko sa team hebi. They all snapped their heads towards my direction. "May paparating na kalaban." Seryosong sabi ko sa kanila.

Karin knitted her eyebrows. "Huh? Wala naman akong nararamdamang kalaban ah." Sabi ni Karin while doing a handseal.

"Wala ka kasing silbi." Saway ni Suigetsu.

Karin's face looked red out of anger. She was about to lash out when I gave her and Suigetsu a cold look. She stopped instantly, same goes to Suigetsu. "Wala tayong panahon para jan." Then I turned my back at them as if telling them to prepare themselves. "I don't want you to use any jutsus, weapons o kahit ano pa man. Solely use taijutsu." Babala ko sa kanila.

"Teka bakit? Di ba tayo madedehado jan?" Tanong ni Suigetsu.

"Trust me. I'll explain later." Sabi ko bago ako naglakad ng mahinahon papunta sa labasan ng alleyway. They unsurely followed me. Habang naglalakad kami patungo sa labasan ng alleyway, may grupo ng mga lalaking pumasok sa alleyway. Walong lalaki to be exact. They have this typical holdaper look. I'm sure may dala silang mga armas. I mentally smirked. This will be fun.

Once nag-abot ang landas namin ng mga holdaper, one guy grabbed my right shoulder and pointed a knife at my waist. "Holdap to. Ibigay niyo lahat ng pera niyo kung ayaw niyo masaktan namin." He announced, eyeing each one of us. I really want to cut his arm off for touching me.
