Nikashi's POV
The five of us met at the village gates the next day as we readied for our mission at a farm 2 days away from Konoha. Pag-aassist lang naman ang gagawin namin. I think it's a pretty easy mission and I'm sure Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke thought that as well so I can pretty much imagine what's on their head right now.
I looked at the three of them and I saw all of their determined faces. I internally laughed. They're really serious about finding out what's underneath Kakashi-nii's mask. I feel kinda bad na tinutulungan ko silang mafail but the memory of yesterday's event made me forget about my guilt. You gotta admit that was hilarious.
Naruto looked overly excited for some reason. "Tara na!" he exclaimed.
The three of them stared at Kakashi-nii as he nonchalantly looked at the sky, checking for the weather. Nung napansin ni Kakashi-nii na tinititigan siya ng tatlo, he raised an eyebrow at out of 'confusion'. "Anong meron sa inyo ngayon? Parang handang-handa kayo kahit ano pang itapon sa inyo."
"Handang-handa na talaga kami!" Naruto and Sakura exclaimed in unison. I looked at them in amazement. It still bugs my mind up to this day how they even do that. It creeps me out how they think so alike sometimes.
Sasuke chimed in with his usual 'hn'. I sweatdropped. At least may isa pang hindi sumasali sa kanila. I don't know what I'll do kung makikisali siya sa kanila. Siguro makikisali ako, considering team kami but that'd be weird.
The next thing I know, they're staring at me as if I just grew another head. I grinned sheepishly. "I said that out, loud didn't I?" I asked them. They all nodded. I mentally facepalmed. I hate my mouth sometimes.
"Anong makikisali Nee-chan?" Naruto curiously asked.
I chuckled sheepishly. "W-Wala. Tara! Adventure awaits!" I abruptly turned around and marched away from them with a sheepish grin on my face. They all sweatdropped but followed me otherwise.
They all eventually caught up with me. Naruto took the lead looking ecstatic as ever. Sakura still tried her best to ask Sasuke out but the latter really did a good job at tuning her out. Kakashi-nii never stopped reading his book. I mentally smiled. I missed this. I missed going on missions with them. This view right here is what I've been yearning for the past two weeks. I'll savor this while this last.
However, my body went tense when I noticed three unfamiliar chakra signatures from the distance. They were fairly weak to be honest but you can never be too sure. I flicked my eyes towards Kakashi-nii casually and unsuspiciously might I add. He met my eyes and an unspoken agreement erupted between the two of us. Kakashi-nii flicked his eyes towards his book again and walked on a faster but nonchalant pace while I on the other hand walked casually slower roaming my eyes around the place as if enjoying the views of nature when in reality I was looking for these unfamiliar chakra signatures. Kakashi-nii subtly took the lead, guarding the front while I took the back. The three unfamiliar chakra signatures were unnoticed by my three other teammates. I can't blame them. It's hard to notice weak chakras.
I mentally smacked my head when I remembered who these stalkers were. I remember them from watching this episode back in the other dimension. Sila yung tatlong lalaking naghahangad makaganti kay Kakashi-nii. I forgot what they call themselves, not that it matters anyway. I snorted when I remembered how pathetic they were. They weren't threats after all.
I relaxed as I enjoyed the nature around us. However, my train of thoughts were interrupted when Sasuke slowed down his pace so he could walk beside me. I raised my eyebrow at him. "Himala, hindi ka niyayaya ni Sakura magdate."
