Nikashi's POV
I listened at the satisfying cracking sound as I eased up the tension on my neck. I sighed in relief as I walked towards the village with nothing else inside my head but the comfortable white bed in our bedroom.
Man! Having these kinds of mission does have its toll. It's been awhile since I accepted these kinds of missions because of the twins. But I won't deny it, being back out there has this satisfying feeling to it.
I calmly walked towards the passageway between the two massive rock walls.
When the guards saw me, they all bowed their heads in respect. "Nikashi-sama." One of them said out in greeting.
I sweatdropped while chuckling sheepishly at their gesture. "No need to be formal with me. Pareho lang tayo ng rank." I sheepishly said.
"Pero--"
I groaned. "My marital status doesn't define my worth. Just treat me how you treat your other comrades." I tried to bargain with them.
They looked at each other before they bowed once again. "Hai Nikashi-san."
I sweatdropped. Well at least hindi na sama ang tawag nila sakin. "A-Alright. Mauna nako. Kailangan ko pang magmission report." I said before I continued my way towards the village.
As I got out of the passageway, the whole village invaded my eyes. The old yet sophisticated buildings stood tall under the heat of the harsh sun. Particles of sand could be felt along with the soft winds. The weather here bothered me before but I came to love it as I time went by.
Instead of transporting myself to the tower, I decided to take the long way and walk my way towards it.
I passed thru the center of the village. As usual, the village was very busy at this time of the day. Clusters of shop lined every corner. The people were wearing clothings that protected them against the harsh heat of the sun. Some of the villagers bowed their head in recognition when they saw me. No matter how much I tell them to treat me indifferently, they would still show me the highest form of respect.
I guess I couldn't blame them, I married their Kazekage after all.
I was at the edge of the busy marketplace when I heard a commotion at a certain alleyway.
I immediately dashed my way towards the alleyway to inspect if there are any threats to this village. I entered the dusty and shady alleyway warily. When I was at the middle of the alleyway, I saw 3 young genins forming a small circle around something. I looked down at their feet and saw a pale black haired little boy, shielding himself from their harsh kicks.
"Ano sa tingin niyo ang ginagawa niyo?" I sternly said which made them stop what they were doing and looked at me with frightened expressions.
"N-Nikashi-sama." One of them muttered anxiously.
I looked down at the little boy and saw him trying to wipe the blood on his nose with his arms as he looked at me in relief.
My heart clenched at the sight of the poor boy. The little boy reminded me of Naruto due to him receiving beatings without the ability to fight back when he was a kid. I darted my stern eyes once again to the three terrified genins. "Ninjas were supposed to protect the people inside the village, not harm them." I sternly told them.
"P-Pero Nikashi-sama, he stole our food!" One of them reasoned out.
"One thing you need to learn about being a ninja is that you should know when someone needed what you have more than you." I told them sternly as I neared the little boy. "Now go home before I tell the Kazekage about this."

Naruto's twin sister
FanficWeird. That's how Nikashi viewed herself. In a place full of normal looking individuals, she was the odd one out. She always thought her bright red hair is too red to be considered as something normal. She doesn't know someone either who was born wi...
