3rd Person's POV
The sun was scorching hot. It was another normal day in Sunagakure. Under other people's perspective, it would've been too hot for their liking.
Nikashi felt this before as well. She cursed the weather conditions in this place. She even wondered what if Suna was located somewhere breezy like somewhere off the shore for it also has sand. But now, she was accustomed by the heat. She even loves it now. It's her new home after all.
Her now shoulder length hair was tied into an elegant bun above her head while her side bangs remained, covering her right onyx colored eye. Her off yellow kimono with navy blue linings fit her slender but fit body very well.
A soft expression remained on her face as she prepared breakfast for her family. She absolutely loved this kind of task. Nothing life threatening, just so mundane and contenting. It also reminded her how fate paid her sacrifices in the past. She was given three beautiful children and a very loving husband. She couldn't ask for more.
As she flipped the omelette on the pan, a pair of strong arms encircled her waist. A smile emerged on her lips as another pair of lips made contact with her cheek. "I really ask Kami everyday why I'm so blessed to have you as my wife." She heard her husband muttered with his rasp and silky voice.
Nikashi chuckled as she calmly turned her head to look at the joy filled seafoam eyes of her husband, who in turn gave her a soft smile. "Good morning din mahal." she greeted before they exchanged a brief kiss.
It amazed Nikashi how her husband's attractiveness didn't change throughout the years. They're already 30 years old and yet he still managed to attract almost all of the female population in Suna.
She could just remember how aggressive his fangirls were when he still went out in public with his messy spiky hair. She inwardly chuckled as she remembered how she bought hair wax for her husband after seeing how flustered he became when a fangirl literally got on her knees to profess her undying love for him.
Nikashi turned off the stove then she transferred the omelette on a plate. "Maupo ka na dun sa dining room mahal. Ihahain ko na to sa lamesa." she told her husband.
Gaara's eyes glint in mischief as he gave her a small grin. "I'll stay here hanggang sa matapos ka sa gagawin mo jan." he said as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
Nikashi chuckled in response as she prepared his coffee. "You seem more clingy than usual." she amusingly said.
She felt Gaara shrugged. "You can't exactly blame me. Namiss kita." he muttered as he ruffled his natural messy red hair, noting inside his thoughts to apply some wax later.
"Tatlong araw lang kami nawala ng mga bata." she chuckled as he turned her around and brought her inside his arms.
Gaara smiled as he leaned in closer, their faces only inches apart. "Exactly. Imaginin mo, tatlong araw ko hindi nakasama ang pamilya ko. It was horrible." he muttered as he kissed every part of her face.
Nikashi chuckled at her husband's antics. "Sino ba nagbigay samin ng misyon na yun?" she shot back while giggling at her husband's affection.
Her husband grinned before he planted a long kiss on her lips. "I regretted every single bit of it." he muttered, their faces only inches apart.
"Oh dear Kami, spare me from all the details." they snapped their heads towards their son. They saw him tightly closing his eyelids, hiding his vibrant emerald eyes. His jet black hair is already slicked back in its usual manner. His long black vest with green details was worn on top of his black sleeveless shirt and black ninja pants.
