Kakashi's POV

I stared at Naruto's confused yet creeped out expression as I weighed the pros and cons of telling him about his twin sister.

If I do tell him, he'd be overjoyed and his hope would rise up. However, he would surely drop everything he worked so hard for the past three years and would probably go rogue if we would stand in his way. I don't know for sure but there is a possibility considering he would do anything just to save his comrade, how much more his family.

On the other side, if I don't tell him, he still would be oblivious to the fact that his sister never really left him emotionally. He would continue getting stronger and his thirst of bringing his sister back would shoot up to the sky. He would safely remain in this village without him charging at the enemy lines without a concrete plan.

It appears that both options were evenly balanced. I guess thinking outside of the box would help me in this situation.

I'm sure may rason kung bakit tinago ni Nikashi ang katotohanan. Now that I know her secret, alam kong ginagawa niya to dahil may pinipigilan siyang mangyaring masama. I've seen her trying to do it nung inatake ang Konoha ng Sound at Sand.

I guess that explains how she managed to save Asuma's life. She must've known something that we don't. Could it be the future?

My eyes involuntarily widened when I remembered that lost prophet a long time ago. Could it be that she somehow found that prophet?

That somehow explained how weird she's acting nung mga panahon bago pa siya umalis ng Konoha. Alam niyang kukunin ni Orochimaru si Sasuke!

She knew kung kelan kukunin ng Akatsuki si Gaara! She was immediately there to aid him at the right time. And how she saved Asuma by altering the reality!

However, it's not as concrete as I hope it would be.

But whatever she has in mind, I won't ruin it. I know she knows what she's doing. She's the Yellow Flash's daughter after all.

"I hope hindi yung libro mo yung iniisip mo Kakashi-sensei." Naruto warily said, snapping me out from my thoughts.

I gave him a close eyed smile. "Hindi naman. Inaalala kung lang yung mga panahon nung pursigido pang ipaghiganti ni Sasuke yung angkan niya." I told him with a soft tone. I won't tell him about my discovery, for Nikashi's sake. At least not yet.

A grin spread across Naruto's lips. "Oo nga no? Sino bang mag-aakalang mapapatawad niya agad si Itachi?"

I mentally sighed in relief that I successfully diverted his attention towards other matters. I closed my lone visible eye as a soft expression appeared behind my mask. "Sasuke saw the light and understood why everything happened like a mature person would do." I opened my eyes then I look at Naruto. "Something that you need to learn yourself as well."

Naruto grew an anime vein. "Anong sabi mo Kakashi-sensei?! Mature kaya ako!" He defended quite loudly.

I shook my head amusingly in reply before I observed the surroundings again, looking for any signs of threat. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Silence enveloped the both of us as we both perched on the tree branch. Concealing ourselves behind the leaves of the tree we're at. Maintaining our jobs as we did so.

That silence was long-lived when Naruto called my name. "Hey Kakashi-sensei?"

"Hmm?"

"If Itachi did all of his crimes because of his desire to protect Sasuke and the village, could it be possible..." His voice became quiet at the end, contemplating whether to tell me or not. "...that Nikashi did that as well?" He softly said with an expression that screams hope. "With all these things happening with Itachi gave me hope na baka ginawa lang din yun ni Nee-chan para protektahan tayong lahat." He looked down as he traced the natural carvings of the branch we're staying at. "Somewhere inside my heart is desperately hoping that to be true." He said with a small voice.
