Nikashi's POV
I felt the wetness and coldness on both of my hands as I rinsed the dishes that I was washing. I tore my gaze away from the wet dishes and directed it towards the window just right above the sink.
Clusters of trees swayed with the wind under the heat of the sun. I took notice of the tall blades of grass. I needed to trim them again, they've become too tall for my liking.
A soft smile appeared on my lips as two children entered my line of sight. They were happily playing under the cool shade of the trees.
The little girl with short raven hair was wearing her cute little red dress. Her onyx eyes behind her red framed glasses twinkled in joy as she laughed at the sight of his brother.
Her brother was wearing his white jacket with black details and a pair of dark green pants. He had a spiky almost-black maroon hair that closely resembled his grandfather. His onyx eyes painted annoyance as his sister laughed at his failure of hitting the target with his shuriken.
I chuckled under my breath before I finished the dishes and decided to help my twins with their training. I put the dried dishes on the plate rack before I went to the backdoor and approached the kids.
My son's tongue stuck out in determination as he aimed for the target with his shuriken. Not a second later, he threw his shuriken. His shuriken almost missed the target but this was good enough for him.
He cheered in joy. "Ha! Kita mo yun Sarada? Natamaan ko!" He proudly told his sister.
His sister sweatdropped at the sight of his shuriken barely hanging on the target. "You didn't even hit the outside circle." She commented with a deadpan.
Taiyo grinned at her, remaining unaffected with his sister's unimpressed stare. "Well it's good enough for me. At least nag-iimprove nako!"
I chuckled loud enough for them to hear. They both snapped their heads towards my direction. "Taiyo is right. At least may improvement." I said with a smile.
Taiyo grinned even wider then he gave his sister a smug look. "See? Even Mama agrees."
Sarada sighed but she approached me nonetheless. She was looking down while her cheeks were tinted pink. "Mama may tanong ako." She said in a small voice.
I crouched down to her five year old height, giving her my utmost attention. "Ano yon nak?" I asked her while holding her shoulders.
"Mama sino po ang first kiss niyo?" She asked me with an embarrassed yet curious expression.
My eyes widened as I was caught off guard by her question.
"Ooooh. Curious din ako mama." Taiyo said as he sat down beside me. He gave me a wide grin as if he was excited to know.
I blushed when I remembered how it exactly happened. "Bakit mo naitanong Sarada-chan?" I said as I pulled her to sit on my lap.
Sarada puffed out her pink cheeks. "Sabi kasi ni Cho-Cho na yung naging first kiss mo daw ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat." She said with a bit of embarrassment.
"That's stupid." Taiyo commented with a deadpanned expression. "Kahit ilang beses ka pang nakakiss jan, kung mahalaga yung tao sayo edi mahalaga talaga siya." He reasoned out.
I chuckled. "Tama naman si Taiyo dun. As long as that someone holds a special place in your heart, mahalaga talaga siya sayo regardless kung pang-ilang kiss mo na siya." I explained to my children.
"Hindi mo ba naging first kiss si Papa Mama?" Sarada asked me in a small voice.
I smiled at her then I looked at Taiyo whose eyes were wide in curiosity. I chuckled. "Well--"
