(56) Return

Nikashi's POV

When Itachi-nii and I found an unconscious Anko, we then returned to where we left a dazed Kabuto.

However, when we returned, we both saw two men inspecting Kabuto.

I smiled in relief at the sight of them both. "Mabuti at nandito na kayo." I said.

The two men turned their heads towards us. The shorter one with white hair smirked at the me. "Of course we would." He smugly said.

Itachi gently put down Anko on the ground. He then bent her head slightly, revealing her curse mark from Orochimaru.

I then looked at the tall man, who had orange hair. "Jugo, pakikuha ng parte ng cell ni Kabuto."

Jugo nodded before his hand turned brown a bit spiky and his face got a little mark in it. He then ripped a little portion of Kabuto's cells from Orochimaru.

"Ilagay mo yan sa curse mark." I said while pointing at the mark on Anko's neck.

The moment the cell made contact with the curse mark, it tweaked a bit, as if recognizing the chakra underneath the mark.

I crouched down beside Itachi-nii and made a series of handseals. The moment I made the last handseal, the cell squirmed violently before a large white snake emerged from it. The large white snake opened its mouth and then Orochimaru gradually emerged from it.

"That's just nasty." I heard Suigetsu thought as he watched Orochimaru emerge from the snake.

I somehow agree with him.

"I kinda wanna kill him again." Yin said with a growl in my subconscious.

I mentally sighed. "We need him, Yin."

Yin huffed in defeat.

Itachi-nii stood protectively beside me as Orochimaru stood up.

"I never thought you'd be the one to initiate my resurrection." Orochimaru said with a sly grin.

I sighed but still looked at him with a serious yet dangerous expression. "I wouldn't do this if I had any other choice."

Orochimaru chuckled. "What makes you think na tutulungan kita? What I want right now is your young body." He creepily said.

Yin growled in my subconscious at what Orochimaru said. "I wouldn't hesitate to rip him to shreds."

Suigetsu looked uncomfortable with what Orochimaru said. "Tama si Nikashi. He sure sounded like a pedophile." He thought.

Itachi stepped forward, slightly shielding me away from Orochimaru. "Do that and we'll have a problem." He threatened the snake-like sannin.

Orochimaru grinned creepily at Itachi-nii. "I'm surprised you're associated with her." He said to Itachi.

I sighed before I stepped forward. "Look. I know how much you probably hate me right now." I started off as I gave Orochimaru a serious expression. "But we are at war right now and the whole world is at stake. I know you couldn't care less but if the whole world will go down, you will go down with it as well." I looked at him with a determined expression. "So is it too much to ask if we'll need your cooperation?"

Orochimaru looked at me with an indifferent expression. However, his thoughts said otherwise.

And that alone made me high-five myself mentally.

Exhaustion made its presence known within Naruto as they all watched Madara and Obito on top of the ten tails.
