(31) Kazekage Rescue Mission

Sasuke's POV

"Bakit si Gaara pa?!" Naruto furiously asked to one in particular habang tumatakbo kami papunta sa isa sa mga hideouts ng Akatsuki.

Lady Tsunade sent us to this mission to save the Kazekage, which is Gaara. He was kidnapped by the Akatsuki. Hindi siya nakuha ng Akatsuki sa first attack nila kasi niligtas siya ng isang 'Uchiha' kuno but they still got him in their second attempt. I mentally scoffed. He sure is weak as hell. I don't care what happens to him, we seriously don't get along. He loves Nikashi as well so that really makes my blood boil towards the guy. One of the reasons why I even agreed to this mission is to defeat him. I'll make him regret killing our clan and I'll make him wish that he's not breathing. I'll give him a slow and painful death. Sabi ni Yumi-sensei hindi pa ako handang kalabanin si Itachi but I don't care. This is my chance to avenge my clan.

And also, I wanna know the other 'survivor' of the Uchiha massacre. I wanna see her with my own eyes before I even believe this story. Sino kaya yun?

Dahil sa kaiisip ko, hindi ko namalayan na bumilis ang takbo ko at nauna ako sa mga kasama ko. My emotion got ahead of me to even notice. The next thing I noticed, sumabay si Naruto sakin. His face has a really troubled expression. Siguro alalang-alala siya kay Gaara. Psh. Like I care.

As we got near the hideout, we saw a figure from a distance. Nung maklaro ko kung sino yun, I felt my body froze. Tumigil din si Naruto sa tabi ko. He's eyeing the person curiously before he realized who that was and he glared at the person. Our team arrived with Lady Chiyo a few seconds afterwards.

My frozen state was then replaced with a dark aura and a deathly glare. "Itachi Uchiha." I spat with venom laced in every word. Sakura gasped when she heard what I said. Baka nakonekta niya kung sino itong taong to. I activated my sharingan and got ready to fight. "Wag niyong tignan ang mga mata niya baka matrap kayo sa isang genjutsu." I warned them and they instantly looked down.

"Paano natin siya makakalaban niyan dattebayo?" Tanong ni Naruto with a frustrated expression.

"Ebase niyo sa mga paa niya ang magiging galaw niya." Sabi ni Kakashi-sensei still looking down.

"May blindspot ba ang sharingan?" tanong ni Sakura.

"Base sa karanasan ko sa pakikipaglaban sa mga Uchiha noon, isa satin ang magiging pain para atakihin ng iba ang Uchiha sa likod." Lady Chiyo lowly said para hindi marinig ni Itachi ang plano.

"Kung ganun ako ang----" Naruto started to say.

"Hindi." Sabi ko with authority cutting Naruto off. "Pumunta na kayo dun sa hideout, ako na ang bahala dito." Sabi ko with pure hatred towards Itachi.

"Sasuke delikado-----" Kakashi-sensei started to say before I cut him off.

"Kakashi we both know na ako lang ang makakapantay sa kanya. Hindi ko na hahayaan mangyari sakin ang nangyari noon. And besides." I turned my sharingan into mangekyo. They all gasped. I saw Itachi's eyes widened for a second before it returned to its emotionless stare. "I'm not as weak as before." I said while glaring at Itachi. Kakashi sighed before he nodded.

"So you already unlocked the mangekyo." Itachi emotionlessly said while eyeing me while getting into a fighting position.

I glared at him. "Sige na, pumunta na kayo sa hideout ako na ang bahala dito." I lowly said to my team still glaring at Itachi.

"S-Sasuke hindi ka basta-basta naming iwan dito!" angal ni Sakura with a very worried expression. Naruto looked at me with a really serious expression.

"Sakura! Wala tayong panahon para dito! If we keep on arguing here, hindi na natin maabutan si Gaara ng buhay!" I angrily said while looking at her with a cold look. She looked at me with teary eyes. She's a chunin for God's sake! Dapat alam niya na dapat sa mga ganitong misyon, may mangyayari talagang ganito.
