(5) Graduate

Nikashi's POV

After ng chikahan namin ng Third Hokage, I make my way towards Naruto's apartment. Oddly, parang alam ko na ang mga daan ditto. I feel familiarity towards Konoha. I smiled. I really am home.

I wanna try all those training with papa. I channeled a balanced amount of chakra towards my feet at tumakbo ako sa isang pader. My feet stick to the wall perfectly. I AM BREAKING THE LAW OF PHYSICS! OH YEAH!

Once I reached the roof, I saw the whole city. I exhaled contently. I can get used to this. A few moments later, nagtatatalon ako sa mga bubong papunta sa apartment ni Naruto. I am really happy about this. Noon pinangarap ko lang na maging ninja, look where I am now. Dreams do come true.

Once his apartment came into view, I sped up. I jumped on the railings then I reached his door. Hinihingal ako ng konti pero hindi ko yun pinapansin, no one's breaking my happy bubble. THIS IS REALLY COOL.

I knocked on his door 3 times. I heard footsteps approaching the door on the other side afterwards. Few seconds later, Naruto opened the door wearing his sleeping attire.

Nung nakita niya ako, his eyes widened slightly. "Oh, Nikashi-chan, anong ginagawa mo dito? Gabi na ah." Tanong niya.

I scratched the back of my neck while chuckling sheepishly. "Ah eh, pwede ba 'ko dito magstay muna? Wala na raw bakanteng flat eh sabi ng hokage at ikaw pa lang 'yong kakilala ko dito sa Konoha. Kung ok lang naman sa'yo." I sorta lied.

He blinked then he grinned widely. Makikita mo talaga na masaya siya. "Oo naman, pasok ka." He said while opening the door wider.

I grinned in response. "Salamat Naruto ah, akala ko talaga matutulog ulit ako sa labas ngayong gabi." Sabi ko habang pumapasok sa loob ng apartment niya.

"Ok lang. Stay for as long as you want, wala naman akong kasama dito eh." He said while smiling but you can clearly see he's trying to hide the sadness with it.

"Well I guess you're stuck with me for a while." I said while giving him a closed-eyed smile.

He chuckled. "I guess you're right!" after he said that, we talked about some random stuffs. I guess you can say we somehow bonded. I talked about my life while he talked about his. We talked for a few hours before we decided to take out his extra futon and laid it down on the floor.

"Ako nalang hihiga diyan sa lapag." Sabi niya while fighting the urge to close his eyes.

Napakagentleman mo naman kambal. I smiled mentally. "Huwag na Naruto ako nalang diyan, sa'yo 'tong bahay na 'to kaya diyan ka lang sa kama, nakakahiya na sa'yo nakikituloy lang ako dito eh." Sabi ko.

"I insist, ako nalang sa lapag." Pagpupumilit niya habang pinipigilan niyang humikab.

How can we solve this? Hindi naman ako papayag na siya matutulog sa lapag on my first night of stay here.

"Ganito nalang, alternate tayo, ngayong gabi ako sa lapag at ikaw sa kama, tapos bukas palit tayo pati na rin sa susunod na mga araw." I suggested.

"Sige pero ngayong gabi ako diyan sa lapag, bukas nalang ako diyan sa kama." Sabi niya while positioning himself on the futon.

I facepalmed. Hindi talaga siya paawat. "Sige, ikaw bahala." Sabi ko.

"Sige tulog na tayo. Good night." Sabi niya at humiga na talaga siya. A few seconds later, humihilik na siya. Andali niya nakatulog. I sweatdrop. Hindi pa nga ako nakakapaggood night.

Yoshi! It's time for me to train. I sneakily went thru a window and find for a spot to train. Naglalakad ako finding for a place to train, so far wala namang suitable place, it's either masyado siyang maliit for a training spot or malapit lang siya sa residential area. I kept walking when I saw a mountain.
