Hes The Man -Part 20-

~Leilas POV~

I quickly diverted my gaze away from Autumn and Jordan to look at Damon.

"Hi." I stated bluntly, wondering why he was talking to me.

The only reason anyone really ever talked to me and Ramona was to make fun of us or say something mean.

I rolled my eyes at his smile and grabbed the notebook and pen off of Ramonas desk, trying to distract myself from the current 'situations' by doing notes.

"Your names Leila."

He stated it more than asked. I simply nodded my head waiting for him to go away,"Well Leila, you're very beautiful. If you dont mind my saying so."

I sighed and looked up at him, waiting for the punch line. He just continued to watch me with curiosity.

I rolled my eyes and stopped writing. "This is the part where you say 'just kidding Ms. Nobody!' and walk away!" I told in a somewhat irritated manner.

He chuckled and tilted his head to the side. "Excuse me?"

I sighed again and dropped the pen I was writing with, obviously with him sitting here I wasnt going to be able to focus. "You'd think you guys would learn by now."

Damon smirked at me and asked,"You guys?"

I nodded my head while looking in his eyes. "All of you Letterman guys-" Me and Ramona reffered to them as the Letterman guys because they all looked somewhat identical with strong builds and matching Varsity jackets. "You guys only talk to me if its to comment on how I have no friends, or how I'm a loser soo...Bye."

Damon chuckled at my ramblings and shook his head. "Leila I'm new here, I dont know how it works or whatever. Maybe I am a 'letterman boy' because of my jacket, but I can assure you, Im nothing like those guys."

He held his thumb up and pointed behind him, all the while keeping his gaze on me.

I thought about this, my cheeks blushing red with the fact that he didn't know I was the school loser. He didnt know he probably wasn't supposed to talk to me and I'd just humiliated myself by opening my big mouth.

I looked at him with an embarrassed smile. "Soo...Damon. What is it exactly that you want then?"

He shrugged but held a small smile.

"To take you out on a date."

I gasped somewhat shocked. Never in my dreams had I ever imagined Jordan would ask me out, but now Damon? Two guys, both Lettermans. Wanting to date me?

I frowned thinking back to Jordan, he had asked me out, but he didnt really want to date me, I looked over to where he was and saw him just starring at us. He was still crouched down by Autumn but he wasnt talking to her anymore. He was starring straight at Damon with a hard glare painted across his perfect features.

"So what do you say Leila?" Damon asked me, breaking me out of my trance.

I quickly looked at him and smiled nervously, searching his face for any signs of lying or a concealed laugh. You could never be to sure with a guy who wore a letterman jacket. They were all sneaky and coniving, known for sleeping with tons of girls and partying every weekend.

He looked at me with hopeful eyes and had a soft smile, I couldn't detect any signs of sneakiness and he didnt seem to have an alterior motive. I looked up at Jordan one more time, he quickly made eye contact with me and slightly shook his head No.

To anybody else it was undetectable but since he was starring right at me I definitely noticed.

I frowned and a tiny hint of anger boiled up inside of me. How dare he tell me to say no when he was on the other side of the room throwing himself at some girl!

I glared at him before turning and looking at Damon sweetly. "I'd love to go out with you."

His smile turned into a full on grin before he chuckled lightly and leaned forward. "Great. Ill see you tomorrow beautiful. "

I nodded and looked down so that he couldn't see the small blush that was currently flooding my cheeks.

I sighed to myself as he walked back over to his chair and sat down. I leaned back in my desk and mistakenly looked right at Jordan.

He looked furious.

I shot him a little smirk before looking back down at my paper, Two can play at this game.
