Hes The Man -Part 33-
~Jordans POV~
I walked into first period the next day feeling refreshed, new almost.
Something I hadnt felt like in weeks, I felt like myself again.
"Whats up Bro?" Brad shouted with a smile, extending his hand out to me. I quickly did the bro shake with all the guys in the group before taking my spot between Brad and Trent.
"Where've you been man? I feel like I havent seen you in ages!" Trent shouted with a smile painted across his excited features.
I shrugged my shoulders loosly,"Just been busy-"
Zach smirked at me and yelled,"Busy pulling babes!!"
The group of guys broke out laughing and took turns slapping my back. I shook my head with a chuckle, who says stuff like that anymore?
I smiled while looking around the group, last night I had come to the conclusion that Leila didnt need me.
After she chose Damon over me I had decided that I needed to get my priorities straightened out.
I had spent most of last night sulking but I then had to remind myself that I was Jordan DeVall. The most popular guy in all of Green Ridge. I had the life I'd always wanted and was stupid to even consider giving it up for a girl. A girl who didnt share even a percent of the feelings I had for her.
That also made me pause and think, I WAS Jordan Devall. I dont get feelings for girls.
I shook my head, also trying to rid my mind with any thoughts of Leila. Falling back into my old self felt easy but so wrong.
Brad was busy telling a story about Taylor Rushmeyer and something about what they did in his car. I raised an eyebrow at him in amusement and held my finger up.
"Dude be quiet!-" We all chuckled as he looked at me confused. "You do realize that everyone can hear you?"
His eyes widend in understanding for a second before he shrugged and yelled for everyone to hear.
"Its not like everyone in this school hasn't taken a ride on the Taylor coaster!"
My mouth fell open in shock before we all burst out laughing.
"You're bad!"
Brad shook his head and punched my arm. "Its not like you havent taken your turn with her!-"
I scoffed and punched him back.
"Yeah. The first!!"
Howls of laughter erupted from our group as the nobodies in our school looked on with curiousity. The girls looked at us hungrily while the guys tried to smile and act like they were friends with us.
Trent tapped my arm and looked behind him with narrowed eyes. "I think Val has a little crush on you-"
I quickly glanced behind me to see her batting her eyelashes and smiling seductively at me.
I turned around and chuckled. "Ugh theres a reason we broke up, and I'm glad we did sooner rather than later!!"
The guys 'ooed' and hissed 'Diss' While we laughed.
Trent shook his head disapprovingly and stepped into the middle of the circle.
"Guys, Guys! My bud Jordan here, may not see it, but you have to admit! Valerie is one fine piece of Ass-"
"Ok Ok!!" I shouted before he could finish. "Dont get to ahead of yourself Trent-y"
He glared at me for using that nickname and shoved my arm. "Alright 'Jay-Jay'."
Brad scoffed,"Wait? Are you telling us you wouldn't go for that again?"
All the guys looked at me expectantly.
I waved my hand dismissively and rolled my eyes. "Shes old news"
Zach laughed while looking behind me,"And your crazy."
I shrugged. "Maybe"
Brad eyed me testingly,"Well its not like you could get her anyways, being hung up on Leila after all-"
I shot him a sharp scowl as the guys broke out into a fit of laughter. Trent shook his head with a smile.
"Didnt anyone tell you that was all just a game?"
I forced a smirk and punched his arm,"No shit sherlock."
He raised his eyebrows and tried to hold in a laugh. "Good. I was about to say, never settle for a bet."
"What about a bet?" Valerie purred.
We all turned around and sure enough she was standing there with her gang of minions waiting patiently for an answer.
"Maybe if you were apart of this conversation you would know what we were talking about." I hissed before turning around.
The guys shrugged and turned too, cutting her out from the circle. She giggled and snaked her way into the group between me and Trent, tangling her arm with one of mine.
"You can tell me anything Jordan, I can keep a secret."
I scoffed and looked down at her annoyed,"Dont we all know that?"
Her eyes widend when she realized I was referring to her cheating on me. She was about to open her mouth when I shrugged my arm away from her and spat. "Sorry, but we dont associate ourselves with nobodies."
The guys choked back laughter while Valerie gave me a death glare and shot back. "Wouldnt of known since you've been hanging around with the lowest of the low, Leila Grizzel."
I turned to fully face her and growled. "So what? You're keeping tabs on my life now?"
She swallowed not knowing what to say.
"Get lost Valerie. Stay away from me."
She hesitated for a second before turning and quickly walking away with a low. "Whatever!"
Brad looked at me with a smirk.
"Asshole."
I shrugged and looked at him blankly,"Its not like I haven't been called that before."
We all started laughing while Zach shook his head. "Besides Jay being a complete jerk, I think we can all agree that-"
Trent interrupted and shouted.
"The man is back!!"
