Hes The Man -Part 27-

~Jordans POV~

I stood up, taking mine, Kendalls, and Jacobs plates to the sink.

"Well it was good seeing ya baby Jay."

I rolled my eyes at his new nick name for me and mumbled. "Try awkward"

I dropped the plates into the sink with a loud clatter.

Jake had been here for almost an hour, the atmosphere was tense to say the least. I filled him in on some of the drama but after his 'liar' comment I couldnt help but feel weird about him being here.

"Looks like Kendalls knocked out."

I turned around and saw her blonde curls strewn out all around her and her eyes closed, she was fast asleep. I smiled and went to pick her up and carry her to her bed.

"Ill see you around Jake" I nodded my head towards to front door gesturing for him to let himself out.

"Tomorrow at practice I'll let all the guys know you're in town, maybe we can all catch a burger or something."

I was about to take the first step to go upstairs while carrying Kendall when his hand wrapped around my arm, stopping me.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't."

I glared at his hand on my arm before looking at him. "What the-"

He looked hard into my eyes and stated. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell Anybody actually."

If I wasnt holding Kendall right now he'd most likely have a broken nose. I shifted her to my other arm and shrugged his hand off.

"What the hell dude." I whisper yelled at him.

He slowly let go but didn't take his eyes away from mine.

"Can you promise me you won't tell anyone?"

I hardend my glare and asked? "Why wouldn't you want anyone to know you're back?"

He looked away from me and tilted his head to the side now looking at Kendall asleep in my arms.

"If you do tell someone, I'd find it in your best interest that you didnt tell Leila."

I frowned. "Why not Leila?"

He smiled and twirled one of Kendalls curls around his finger. "Theres a reason why we broke up. I'd rather keep my distance from her until the time comes."

He looked calm right now. He had a soft smile on his face and was admiring Kendalls features.

"What if I told her? I think she deserves to know so that She can keep Her distance from You."

He chuckled and pulled on Ken's curl softly, letting it go and watching as it bounced back up into a perfect spiral.

"If you did tell her, I think you'd want to make sure you watch Kendall yourself from now." He smiled at me and winked before turning and walking towards the door.

I was shaking.

I was so angry, my face felt hot and my hands were clenched into tight fists, I was tempted to go set Kendall down on the couch and go kick his ass for even thinking about threatening my little sister!

My breathing was hard and I couldn't take it, I walked over to the couch as fast as I could and set her down before going out the front door where Jake had just left.

I was preparing myself to run, expecting him to be halfway down the block by now but came up short.

I stumbled a step back as I came crashing into him. He was standing not even a foot away from the front door, he had a smirk on his face. His eyes shining with amusement.
