~Chapter 19~

I double checked myself in my compact mirror before walking into the photography studio. My hair was down in my natural blonde waves. I was wearing a natural colored pink lipstick and lightly applied mascara and eyeliner. It was all a natural look for the photot shoot. I walked inside and looked around for Trey. He called and changed the plan from meeting at his office to meeting here earlier this morning. He sounded urgent so I didn't argue with him although it was an inconvenience to me.

"There's my star!" He called walking over to me.

"Trey! Good to see you again!" I gave him a hug.

"You're looking beautiful as always!" He complemented me.

I smiled and replied, "Thanks, you're looking good yourself!"

"Did you bring me your demo?" Trey asked.

"Yes sir, right here," I pulled the demo out of my purse andhanded it to him.

He admired the cover Max had made for me. "If you're song is as amazing as this CD case, you're gonna be landing roles everywhere!"

"Thanks," I blushed.

"Go over there and meet with Riley, she will get you started," he pointed to a bright red-haired girl across the room, standing infront of a backdrop with a camera.

"Okay, thank you so much for everything!" I said to Trey, calling back over my shoulder.

When I walked up to the girl she greeted me with a smile and shook my hand. "Great to meet you Ms. Addams, I am Riley and I will be your photographer today."

"Great to meet you too!" I smiled with genuine excitement. "Where should I plpace my purse?" I looked aorund the big studios. There were flashes coming from everywhere, other celebrities at photo shoots. I was too far away to recognize any of them.

"I'll take that from you! You look stunning Ms. Addams!" Riley said, placing my purse on a rack against the wall.

"Thank you I love your hair."

"Thanks. We will start over here with the purple back drop. Just pose however feels natural." She walked me over to the purple backdrop and I started posing. A lot of the poses were common ones I'd seen on T.V. and in magazines. I also did a few that I had never seen before. It just felt natural.

"Okay that was great! Now we need to get a headshot. Please stand infront of this black backdrop. The black really contrasts your blonde hair, so this is the perfect color for a headshot," Riley commented, leading me over to the black backdrop. I smiled and looked strait at the camera. Riley snapped a few shots and then she told me I was done. "Gather your stuff, it will only be a few minute wait while we get these printed on some 8x10 sheets."

"Okay thanks," I grabbed my purse and got all my stuff together. Before I knew if Riley had already come back. She was talking to Trey. He was holding the envelope with my pictures inside.

"Would you like to go get some coffee while we go over your headshots and the next step of the process?" Trey offered as we walked out of the studio.

"Sure," I replied. We walked to a Dunkin Donuts a few building down and ordered coffee. We sat down and Trey pulled out his laptop as well as my headshots and pictures. He handed me a copy of the headshot against the black backdrop. It already had all of my information printed on the back.

"This is the one I think you should use. Agreed?" Trey asked.

"Agreed." I confirmed.

"The next step is auditioning. I can sign you up to audition online. Here is a list of openings we have on the Nickelodeon channels."

He turned the laptop to face me. I scrolled down the list. iCarly, Big Time Rush, Victorious, How To Rock. As soon as I got to How To Rock I stopped. That was the show Max was on. "What is the opening for the show How To Rock?" I asked Trey.

He turned the laptop back to face him, opened the link, and read it outloud. "Opening role for a new character on the show How To Rock. This character's name is Hannah. In the first episode of the new season her role is part of the Perfs, but Hannah is also secretly dating Zander, a band member from Gravity 5. Hannah leaves the Perfs to join Gravity 5 and becomes a new guitar player and backup singer."

"I wanna audition for that role!" I exclaimed a little too loud, and people around us turned to stare at us.

"I want to audition," I repeated a little quieter.

"Ok. I have just put you on the audition list, and I will send you a copy of the audition script," he told me.

"Thank you so much!" I gasped. I can't wait to tell Max about this!
