Chapter 12: The End of the World

Vaatu flew into the air above us as lightning crashed down around us and I saw the now connected portals turn gold.

Vaatu: "Raava there was nothing you could do to stop this moment Harmonic Convergence is upon us again.

Korra: "I'm not going to let you fuse with Unalaq I'm putting you right back into that prison." Did I hear that right Unalaq was planning on fusing with Vaatu is he crazy. Apparently he wasn't for Vaatu went straight for Unalaq who stood there with open arms. But Korra sent a flame towards Vaatu forcing him back then she entangled Unalaq in a gust of wind sending him through the portal. "Make sure Unalaq stays out." She said to Mako and Bolin they nodded and went off to stop him. Korra then ran off to fight Vaatu and I tried to force myself up but the hole in my side wasn't helping me right now. I glanced over to see Olivia struggling to fight Acnologia who looked like he wasn't even trying while Olivia was giving it all she had I could see tears in her eyes and her form was sloppy.

Igneel: "She's been blinded by her rage over you and can't focus straight we must help her before it's too late." I groaned and tried to push myself up.

Me: "You make it sound easy I'm the one bleeding out here." I told him but even if I do stand up what then it's not like I can actually fight like this I have to do something else. Then I came up with an Idea. I slowly pressed my hands on both sides of my wound grunting in pain from the new pressure I just put on it. I breathed in and out quickly before igniting my hands burning the wound closed. I grunted in pain and almost found myself passing out. I then reached into my pocket and pulled out a small glass vial containing a weak flame.

Igneel: "So you took some of my flame before you left very smart."

Me: "I was taught by you wasn't I?" I heard him chuckle a bit in my head as I popped the lid off and sucked in the flame immediately feeling strength return to my body then ran off to help Livi out since Korra was winning her fight. I saw Acnologia kick Livi making her drop to her knees in pain then he raised his hand to finish her off I wasn't letting that happen as I jumped up kicking him in the side of the face sending him into the River nearby. I turned to help Livi up as she looked at me with happy tears falling down her face. "Come on let's show him what we can do to him." She nodded and surrounded herself in water. "Just like we practice Livi we can beat him together." Acnologia jumped out of the water landing a few feet in front of me.

Acnologia: "You how are you still able to stand." I saw him glance down and see my wound now burned closed. "I have to say you're tougher than you look I'll give you that but you no longer have the power to stop me it ends here." He ran towards me and I just smirked at him dropping low as Olivia rolled over me dowsing him in water then freezing it at his feet making him lose his balance that's when I moved it and punched him twice in the face then a spinning roundhouse kick to his side. He growled and breathed a huge wall of flame. But Olivia was already on it creating a huge wave a water in front of me protecting me from his attack she solidified it as I ran up to the top. She pushed a little Ice out under my feet launching me into the air as I engulfed my hand into a fist slamming it straight down onto Acnologia creating a small explosion. When the dust cleared Acnologia was standing beneath me wearing an angry expression. "How annoying." He then kicked me through the Ice wall destroying it completely while slamming into Olivia in the process. "You two think you can really defeat me." He looked away for a second and smirked. "Look now we have succeeded and you have failed." I looked to see Korra struggling to get up while Vaatu rushes into Unalaq disappearing inside of him and once he opened his eyes they were blood red. Unalaq then turned to Acnologia.

Unalaq: "Acnologia finish off the Avatar I'm going ahead." My eyes widened no, no no no NO not Korra anything but her. I looked up to see Acnologia smile widely.
