Chapter 15: Zaofu

Once we left the others we caught ourselves up to speed on what happened in Ba Sing Sae. Mako and Bolin talked about how they met their family which made me happy and then Olivia and I talked about Wendy how she was actually trained by a Dragon and didn't receive her powers from Harmonic Convergence which surprised them as well since we were told that there were no more dragons living in this world that could teach Dragon Slaying. We decided to stop between a mountain pass to take a break as we've had no luck in finding new airbenders. Korra and Naga decided to play around while I took Olivia down to the river to start her training.

Olivia: "So what do you have planned for training today... Sparring?" I chuckled and shook my head.

Me: "Nope today we are going to meditate." She groaned a bit meditating has never been her strongest factor so this may be a little difficult for her. "First we need to find your drive everyone has one but Igneel said ours is the key to our Dragonforce and everyone has a different drive mine was activated when Acnologia threatened to kill you and Korra so I assume my drive is to protect the ones I love and keep close to my heart." Olivia smirked slyly at me when I mentioned love and Korra in the same sentence but I waved her off. "So today I'd like you to lay in the river and open your mind Igneel said that when Dragon Slayers Meditate within your element you can sharpen your mind giving you more focus and clarity." She nodded and walked into the water proceeding to lie down and close her eyes taking deep breaths as she tried to clear her mind. After a few moments I heard her sigh in frustration flailing a bit in the water making me chuckle. "It's not going to come to you that easily just give it time Livi patients is key." She nodded and I heard Korra and Lin come up behind me.

Korra: "Hey we just got word that there's another airbender in the city of Zaofu." I smiled excitedly not only because we finally found another airbender but because i had heard about how beautiful Zaofu is, I also how it was hole to the Metal Clan since everyone in the city is practically a Metal Bender. Lin seemed hesitant at first like there was something there that she didn't want to see but she blew it off saying we had to keep moving before Zaheer finds us. Once the city came into view I had to admit it took my breath away there was the main city in the middle with three other separate cities surrounding it all connected by a train and the cities themselves seemed to shine as if they were all metal themselves. I also notice how each city seemed to resemble a flower with these petal looking things on the perimeter of the cities. We approached one of the landing platforms where some of the guards reeled us in to dock. As we made our way out I noticed Lin wasn't moving.

Me: "Aren't you coming?" She shook her head.

Lin: "What's there to see, it's metal big whoop just find the airbender and let's get moving and don't tell anyone I'm here." We all looked at each other confused.

Korra: "Why not?"

Lin: "I don't need to explain myself to you just do what I say." Korra huffed in annoyance.

Korra: "Fine you got it chief crankypants." We walked down the metal stairs they created for us and were greeted by a bald man wearing a mixture of green robes and a metal necklace of some sort.

Aiwei: "Greetings Avatar Korra it is an honor to meet you my name is Aiwei." He bowed to Korra.

Korra: "Thanks for having us." She bowed in return as Aiwei looked at all of us.

Aiwei: "Is this everyone?"

Korra: "Yup just us." She lied "So can I meet the new airbender?" He smiled at her.

Aiwei: "Of course right this way." He lead us to the elevator behind him where we boarded a train that took us to a massive estate outside of the main city it was an amazing mix of Metal and stone. Whoever lived her must be richer than Asami. Aiwei lead us a side house where we saw a group of people doing some sort of dance.
